Great prices and great work, I have been dealing with this mechanic for over 15yrs and never had any issues. I send people to him and they now go back to him whenever they need work done.

Amazing service! Kenny and his team are very professional. They took care of my Jeep in ONE day and explained thoroughly the issues it had and the work done. O2 sensor issues, exhaust, engine problems and even inspection were all resolved. The price was very good compared to other shops. I will be using this shop for all my mechanical issues from now on.

We have been going on and off to Lighting Auto for quite a few years now, and through 3 different cars. Kenny REALLY knows his stuff and is super nice and explains things simply and understandably. The first time we went, we knew he was for real because he did welding on the undercarriage of an old car we still had in the 90s. Since then we have had 2 other cars, but he has always been honest about how we could order the cheapest parts, either on our own or through his connections. We saw him again today for the first time in years, and it was still the same... explaining what we needed and getting good advice along with service.

Unreliable automotive technical professionals. In nyc. The typical story. After having work done on my car here. I ended up having to get all of the work redone to produce the result I wanted in the first place. Additionally another one of my vehicles came back to me with a more acute problem than when I took it there initially. The major issue in the city is that the technicians are costly and maybe that's because of overhead, but they do not give you reliable trustworthy / dependable service. I know for a fact that the diagnosis of the issue is where this shop failed. On three vehicles I know about. I took my car to someone whom I knew through a mutual friend and in 10 minutes they took care of issues that three trips to lightening did not. My second car is still having problems. And a friends car was put through a horrendously overpriced job despite the initial agreement about what was wanted and what was promised to be delivered. He was quoted triple what the price was in the market for parts alone. Double would have been fair in comparison. I am back to searching for a shop in NYC that doesn't give me cause for concern. Honestly if I had the funds I would rather just rent my own.
