I have been searching for a good, honest, auto repair shop for some time now for some much needed work on my car's engine, and found it here at LLama Auto Repair. Recommended to me by my uncle, I gave them a call, and spoke with the owner Jorge. I eventually met up with Jorge, and did a review of my car, and brought my car in a week later, since he was already very busy with other customer's vehicles. I brought my car in on a Wednesday morning when they opened, and picked up the car in the late afternoon on Friday. Jorge kept in touch with me regarding the progress of the work being done on the engine, and more importantly, found the source of a bad oil leak that no one else I took my car to could find [Turns out it was both camshaft seals leaking lots of oil, the main source causing a heavy loss of power on my car]. Jorge and his crew did an outstanding job with replacing my timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt, valve cover gasket, gromets, and those camshaft seals, and cleaned up most of the oil residue from the leak (I'll still have to take my car to get a basic steam cleaning to clear off the oil residue on the bottom of the engine). End result is, my beautiful 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT Mivec V6 engine is performing like a beast now. I don't have to baby walk her anymore, she just wants to go go go! I test drove her on the freeway, up a few hills, and around the South Bay area for some errands and shopping, and she runs very smooth now, and with power. A huge thanks to Jorge, and to his awesome crew of mechanics for bringing my Daisy back to life, and giving her back that performance power she was sorely lacking for some time now. They've got a new customer in me, and I would genuinely recommend them. The cost of the work done, with a few parts ordered was very fair, and more than competitive. Honestly, the repair cost was lower than expectations. They only had my car long enough to do the job, and Jorge will keep you up to date on the progress, and will give you recommendations for preventive maintenance work if needed. 5 Easy Stars. When you find yourself at the mechanic shop, it’s never a good time. When you find yourself at a mechanic shop with a poor mechanic and or a schemer, it’s gravely worse. Not Jeorge though. This man pours every ounce of his heart in soul into taking care of your car (along with his team.) He sacrifices his whole life (including not being about to visit his family in Peru,) to ensure a decent living and keeping our cars running so we can keep living and working. Took 27 years to find a mechanic this loyal, hard working, caring and intelligent. Been with him for 2 years, and he is not just me and my family’s mechanic. He is family. Fair prices. Great turn around time, and EXCELLENT results. We are not worthy of such a great mechanic in this small port city of San Pedro. This shop earns every single compliment and business to be had with. Best mechanic in LA! Jorge takes his time to explain everything and always makes the best recommendation. He never tries to oversell and is genuinely trying to help and keep you safe on the road. His prices are very reasonable as well. Highly recommend this place!

The Best!!!! I won't go anywhere else. It is difficult to find an honest and trustworthy good mechanic and I found them right here in my home town. I am so Happy. I have a 2003 Honda Accord with 265.0000+ miles and it is still running perfect Thanks to Jorge and the team. I've told all my friends and family and now I am telling you. A Billion Stars if I could.
