This place is a total SCAM. I brought my car there because it was overheating. I already knew what the problem was.. But shopping around. I only had to get new coolant caps because that's where the fluid was coming from. I told them that and they even saw it. So he said out the blue it would be $350 to replace the thermostat... And I said well that's working fine. He tried to make me look like I don't know anything. Then tried the "hey my brother I will give you a great price.. but the $350 is just the start it may cost more if we find something else" and I'm like you have found anything yet though and you haven't tested anything either. So to make a long story short I went down the street and got everything fixed for $85 and must of that was labor fee (which I totally understand).. STAY AWAY FROM M & L AUTO REPAIR

Did not end up getting serviced here. The lot is mainly luxury vehicles being serviced so it’s clear their clientele is “important”. I was not treated as such.

Yesterday, I was helped by Mario who was as helpful & honest as they get! I got a diagnosis done at a different shop in the morning. They told me I needed new coils, spark plugs & fuel injection. After they quoted me ~$1000, I called around to get more quotes. Mario let me know fuel injection I probably wouldn’t need & may not need all coils to be changed either. Over the phone, he quoted me $700 for all 4coils & spark plugs plus labor. I brought my car in & he was so honest with me about what actually needed to be done (2 coils, 4 spark plugs) - he showed me the issues under the hood so I understood & followed through with this after he fixed the parts, as well. He gave me a fair & honest price so I gave a tip on top of that for all his help. Needless to say, he is my new go to mechanic in LA!! Thanks for everything 🙏🏽

This guy is fantastic. No BS and very straightforward, went to him because other garages wouldn't look at my engine and not only did he fix that but he's fixed my car a few times now. I plan on taking my car to him for everything moving forward, hard to imagine there's a better mechanic than him.
