After calling 911, I was towed to Magz Auto Repair late Sunday night and had to wait until 8 AM the next morning to check in. It turned out that my engine oil was almost completely gone due to a leak, which caused the issue. The mechanic at Magz Auto Repair was incredibly thorough in diagnosing the problem and identifying the root cause. The woman staff went above and beyond to ensure my car was repaired as quickly as possible. They not only worked efficiently but also provided constant updates, easing my worries as I waited for parts to arrive. Their kindness and professionalism made a stressful situation so much more manageable. The mechanic was highly skilled, and the entire team was outstanding. My 1998 Tahoe started malfunctioning while driving through the Grapevine on my way to Los Angeles. Not the best place to have problems with your vehicle, so I got off the interstate and found Magz Auto Repair. At the time I had no idea what the problem was, but it turned out to be a simple fuel filter. This problem should only cost about $100 and take an hour to fix. When I got to the shop I was approached by a white middle aged man. You could say he had a white trash appearance and looked like he just got out of prison 6 months earlier. He told me that he needed to run a diagnostic to determine what the problem was. That would cost $120 and would go towards the cost of the repair. So I should have paid $120 and been on my way in about an hour, but then there wouldn't have been any money to be made. After waiting 2 hours I stepped outside for some fresh air and was approached in a rather creepy manner by the white trash mechanic. He told me that he had absolutely no idea what the problem was, but believed it was a timing issue. He told me he would need a few more hours to fiddle around with it and that the bill would be around $300. In desperation I agreed. After all, I was stranded away from home on a Saturday and they were closed on Sunday. I didn't want to be stuck there for days. About 3 hours later he was finished. The invoice was for $400, $300 for the "timing adjustment" and $100 for the fuel filter. When I questioned the invoice they said that my vehicle needed both. I was never told about the fuel filter until I read it on the invoice. Since 5 hours had past, and I just wanted to get out of there, I paid and went to my car. As I was driving away I noticed that my check engine light was on. It wasn't before, which makes sense since a bad fuel filter wouldn't turn on the check engine light. So I turned around and went back, but first I plugged in my scanner and discovered that the vehicle was throwing a camshaft code. It turns out that the white trash mechanic messed up my timing while he was trying to fix my timing. Yeah, I know 🤦🏻‍♂️ His expression changed when he found out that I had a scanner, and then adjusted the timing correctly in about 5 minutes. To this day I wish I would have fought for my $300 back. But like I said, I just wanted to get out of there. This place is situated just perfectly where they are, so please don't make the same mistake that I did. I believe there is another repair shop about a mile away that has much better reviews.

I was on my way to have surgery in LA and got a flat tire on the freeway. Luckly, I pulled off the freeway and saw Magz auto and tire shop. I pulled in the shop with a completely flat tire and told them my situation and the time crunch I was in. I live 2 hrs away but they treated me like a local. They were absolutely amazing ! The first gentleman i spoke to took me to the female service clerk who dropped what she was doing to accomodate me right away since she knew my limited time; she took all my info and in the mean time had technician mark ( I think that was his name ) work on patching up the tire. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Because of them, i made it to my surgery and for that I'm very grateful. Their accomodation and customer service was top notch. I highly recommend them.

We were several hours from home when our van started to have trouble on the freeway... We made an emergency exit and it couldn't have been better luck that we came across MAGZ AUTO REPAIR in Lebec, California! The lady behind the counter's name was Jade Ramos and she was incredibly helpful and so polite! I cannot recommend this place enough! They took care of us with a reasonable price and quickly got us back on the road!! Great people work here! I didn't get the mechanic's name but he was honest, friendly and knowledgeable!Thank you MAGZ AUTO REPAIR and Jade!!
