Master Auto Care

There's lots to say about Master Auto Care, and they are all great things. These guys focus on actual, old school diagnosis, and not throwing parts at the problem until its fixed. That means pinpointing the problem through specialized tests and fixing the problem right the first time. I don't know of any shops like this in the LA area, I drove out 65 miles each way to Rancho because this is the only shop I know that seems to care enough to advertise their diagnostic skills and run an technician school! What's awesome with these guys is everyone is expected to be trained and talk cars, that means even the receptionist, Desiree! When I was there, I saw she had several automotive technician certifications! That says so much and it was really awesome being able to explain the issues with my jeep and talk through the diagnosis work with her and know she understood what I'm talking about, despite it being really techncial. Hats off to you, Desiree! I have a 30 year old Jeep with the 4.0 that has all sorts of trouble passing emissions. I made the trek out from San Fernando Valley, a 130 mile round trip, to have them fix the problem once and for all after struggling to fix it myself for years. They did it! My jeep is back on the road and passed a smog check with flying colors. What's awesome is its a family owned business and despite me being so far away, the owners went out of their way to accommodate pick up and drop off meeting me after hours, and driving quite a ways to be there after hours to let me pick up my car! I highly recommend this place, especially if you have a problem with your car that no one else can figure out. These guys will. Thank you to the entire team over there. You guys rock and still practice a dying art!

Had to be somewhere quickly and as I was leaving my window would not go up I stopped over at MAT and they quickly removed my door panel and got the window rolled up They ordered the motor and will fix it next week Great friendly service Highly recommend them

After taking my GMC truck to four (4) different Smog Check test only or test/repair facilities, and being told that the issues preventing the vehicle from passing a Smog Check couldn’t be identified, only Masters Auto Care took the time to listen to me and properly diagnose the problem(s). They made the appropriate repairs and passed the Smog Check! Great job!! Thanks!

I highly recommend MAT Automotive Diagnostics. These guys know what they're doing. Sure some mechanics can diagnose the typical brakes, struts, alternator but if you ever in need of some professional dealer type troubleshooting give them a call. I feel I should be getting pay for this review 😂. But seriously, for the price of a diagnostic that includes a report with images, there's no comparison.
