Matthey Automotive

I just had my first experience with Matthey Automotive, which certainly won’t be my last. On my way home from work, my car‘s check engine light went on while exhibiting some moderate symptoms. That night, I scheduled an appointment on Matthey’s website (very seamless). The next day, my car was at the shop for diagnosis. The staff members were friendly and transparent with each diagnosis and price for repair. Throughout the process, I felt I was in control while receiving sound advice from the mechanic. The turnaround time for a significant repair on my car was less than a week. I am grateful for these folks and do not dread my next experience!

I recently needed a quick repair for my son's new-to-us car. We discovered two burnt-out bulbs that would have prevented it from passing state inspection. Matthey Automotive was recommended to us, and I was impressed with their promptness and professionalism. From the initial phone call to the final repair, the entire process was smooth and efficient. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and they were able to schedule an appointment quickly, given our tight deadline. The mechanic was thorough in his work and ensured the bulbs were replaced correctly. I would highly recommend Matthey Automotive for their excellent service and attention to detail. We are so grateful for Matthey. We have a tiny electric Smart car whose auxiliary battery gave out. It’s an unusual car with atypical needs- and they people at Matthey were so patient and curious and assuring. Very honest, very attentive. So good.

Matthey's is very trustworthy, reliable, and fair. They were thorough with diagnosing what was wrong with my car, keeping me updated throughout the process, including when things were taking longer than expected, and used quality parts. I highly recommend them.

When we coasted (literally) into Matthey Automotive we were traveling from MA to SC when we started having car trouble. Michelle, Bernie and Jud were incredible. Being stranded in New Jersey needing a new transmission they treated us like family helping as much as they could to get us on our way. They couldn't fix our car because of warranty constraints but what they did for us navigating road side assistance, rental cars and scenarios was priceless! Thank you so much! I would recommend these guys to anyone in that area! They are like no other

I have had my car worked on 2 times now with Matthey. Once for routine maintenance and once for wheel hub bearings. Their customer service is above and beyond! They are so very timely with getting you scheduled and with repairs! A very nice waiting area and can offer you transportation home if you have no other option. I will NEVER take my car anywhere else!

Not the best news when Matthey's informed me that my transmission was blown in my van. However, they offered a financing service to help ease the burden of this expensive repair. It was quick and easy. I was also offered a few ways to approach the repair so I was comfortable when the choice was made. The repair only tied my car up for a couple of days! I couldn't ask for better service as I am now back on the road! Quick, dependable, honest service...not easy to find these days!!
