Mavis Discount Tire

We got a flat on our way into Philly from NH. After another guy told us he couldn’t plug it and we had to buy one maybe two tires at $500/each, I called Mavis. They squeezed me in even though they were super busy. They were able to plug my tire for $35 and got us on the road in 2 hours. They were so helpful and friendly. Great staff and experience all around.

I had a really positive experience with this Mavis Discount Tire location's incredible employees. They were calm, kind, and courteous, and I witnessed them going the extra mile not only for myself but also for two or three other customers whose vehicles they were working on at the same time. They were thorough and efficient in their work, and I cannot recommend them enough.

I recently had a fantastic experience at Mavis Discount Tire. I was greeted by Eric and from the moment I walked in I was greeted warmly.The staff was incredibly welcoming, professional and personable. I was treated as if I was family and not a customer. I went to get the tire sensor checked and was very impressed with the aspect of service and how knowledgeable the staff was. Especially, Eric who went above and beyond to ensure I had a positive experience. I highly recommend this business to anyone in the area looking for Tire Service. You won't be disappointed.

Shout out to the team at the Mavis Tire store on Hunting Park Avenue in Philadelphia. While I had a basic state inspection done on my one year old car that has less than 10,000 miles on it, they were still super friendly, super easy to work with, and took care of my vehicle and I very well. Used them two years ago when I needed new tires on my previous SUV and they were professional, timely, and honest then. Definitely a much better choice than the local Pep Boys locations and most neighborhood places nearby.

Great team here! Answered all of my questions and concerns! The managers were awesome! Whytney and Anthony even kept the gold fish alive while reviewing the services that would be needed for my car! Will drop another five star review once my other car is serviced!

Don't make an appointment because it does NOT matter at all apparently!!! I made an appointment for 10am Saturday, and couldn't make that original appointment due to an emergency. I called and got it rescheduled around 10:20am, and I was so grateful that they were understanding to reschedule me to Sunday at 2pm, that I was ready to leave a glowing review just for that. I called Sunday at 1:16pm to check how long the appointment would take and if I would have my car to be able to go to work tomorrow. I was told that a tire install and oil change should only take about an hour, maybe an hour and a half with the oil change. I drop my car off at 1:55pm and I only JUST got my car back at 5:45pm. If y'all are busy, you should not be giving time estimates because I wasted four hours I could have gone back home and done other things all because you told me it would only take a FOURTH of the time I was actually waiting. It's despicable planning, poor service, and deeply disrespectful of my time and yours. Not to mention, I was twice told it would be ten or fifteen more minutes, and neither were true. Obviously someone needs to buy a watch. Also, one of your workers put their tire greasy fingers all over my water cup left in the car, which realistically could have just been moved to the passenger seat if it was so in the way. Gross to just put your fingers you Know are nasty all over your customer's personal objects instead of getting them out of your way with cleanish hands or one movement.

I would like to say thank you Eric and whitney for your great customer service and professionalism, very polite great and patient. To the mechanic who service my car was very caution didn't rush the job and made sure everything was right to torque specs I appreciate that because some mechanics don't give a dam but he did. He even put air in my spare to its right PSI Great job I will be coming back for more service.

Chino and Whytney were AMAZING I Literally heard a noise and called Chino was Very attentive and told me to come right in they were able to get my car in and out in a couple hours I was so surprised that they had room for me today I would have waited all day to get my car fixed. Whytney was very knowledgeable about what my car needed. I recommend this place anytime
