Brought my car into the shop for a repair and was taken care by the best of people with the best hospitality I've had in a while. You don't usually expect to have a pleasant experience when you visit an auto repair shop but that's exactly what I had at the Mavis on Hempstead tpke in Franklin Square. From the moment I stepped up to the counter I was greeted with very nice people. The tech that worked on my car was Matt. He did an excellent job and he was really nice. The customer waiting area is clean and comfortable. I will recommend this shop to everyone I know.

Leaving this review directly after leaving this establishment. I set an 8am NYS inspection appointment on the snowy morning of MLK day 2025. I always typically set my self up psychologically for disappointment just so I can be ready.. In my head I thought the same old typical inspection excuses we come to hear… “sorry the tech is not here, our machine is down, we are booked up today” but what I got was a wonderful welcome, immediate attention and by showing up on time , I was out in less then 30 min with a smile on my face… This particular Mavis Discount tire in Franklin Square had never ever let me down. From the fantastic staff to the trustworthy people here. They have never tried to sell me on anything they would not recommend as a consumer them self. That is the professionalism I’ve come to respect here , and why they have earned my business time and time again. The manager there has been there for years and always treats me with respect and professionalism. Have no fear, this Mavis should be the shining example amongst all others!! This is what an A++++ rating looks like!!! Thank you to the entire team there!! And I hope corporate sees this and you get all the recognition you deserve!
