Mavis Discount Tire

Unfortunately I can't comment on their abilities. Made an appointment for an 8:00am wheel alignment on my wife's car. The day prior to the appointment I receive a call from the shop to confirm my appointment, and the morning of the appointment I receive an email again confirming. Get there early @ 7:50am, shop not yet open; OK, they show they open @8:00am. Around 8:00 the manager arrives and opens up, then mechanics roll in after 8:00am; manager seems likes a nice guy and I have a good vibe. If you're not opening till 8:00am, and mechanics aren't there till after 8:00am, why accept 8:00am appointments? Fast forward to 9:15am and my car is still in the parking lot where I left it. My wife is an ER Nurse and needs the car to get to work. I ask for my keys back as she needs to get to work. No updates on how long I would've had to wait, nor apologies for the inability to perform the service @ the appointed time. I have five cars, it's their loss for future business, not they seem to care. It all comes down to why accept appointments?

Great Service! Guillermo and Mike went above and beyond to help me out. I've been coming here for years; this shop has always been reliable. I recently visited the shop on a Friday afternoon. The guys worked late after closing to fix the brakes, tires, and rotors the same day.

Last night driving home the light came on reading tires have low air pressure. I went back to Mavis to see if I needed yet another new tire. Having Guy Guillermo at Mavis in Glen Cove near me now makes me feel secure with my car. Finally a young guy who took the time to not only check my tires but said I needed brake fluid. I just brought my car to be serviced at S & S again and this was not mentioned. I will now go to Guy for all my auto needs. Thank you Guy Guillermo!

The Mavis Discount Tire at 677 Glen Cove Rd, Glen Head N.Y. 11545. The management and staff are honest and fair with the service they gave to my 2015 Honda Accord. I had brought the car in last month for low tire pressure on 2 of my tires. They made repairs in a timely manner and the cost was very fair. Today 11-13-24 I had a low tire alert again. I called to see about availability to check the tire. The manager stated there was about and hour wait and to bring the care in at 1:30pm. They brought the car right in and the tire needed to be dismounted and resealed. My wait time for the repair was not very long. The tire was fixed. I highly recommend this location and it's staff. I do recommend calling ahead if you will be waiting on your service. I highly suggest that you have your service with this Mavis team. If you need to travel to this location it is worth the trip. I had an outstanding experience with Alex at Mavis in Glen Head! From start to finish, the entire process was incredibly smooth and simple.
