Maximus Towing

Post Script: Good experience on the day of service, BUT for months afterwards I have tried to get a receipt with absolutely NO success. My emails and my phone calls were not returned. Very very disappointing. The best towing company I have ever dealt with! I needed assistance on a very cold, very icy day with a rental car. Operator arrived quickly and was knowledgeable about exactly what was wrong with the car. Terrific communication, wonderful service.

Quaran was my tow truck driver last night after I got a flat front tire on the drivers side on a busy highway. He was very nice and respectful. He kept me updated on his ETA because he knew I was hanging out on a very busy highway with a small shoulder. He made me feel at ease talking to me. Your employee should be commended on his people skills. Thank you Madelyn

Great service, knowledge and response time. Vehicle stalled on a Friday night, left me stranded on the side of a highway. My providers roadside assistance program basically tried for two hours to get someone to respond and this was the only company in the area willing/able to do it for the time and place. Driver was very professional, friendly and helpful. Even helped me diagnose what was most likely the problem!

A subhuman owns this company. The bad reviews are accurate, good ones MUST be staged. I was involved in a collision while parked. I called my roadside assistance ( they dispatched this company I would have never picked them). I waited nearly 3 hours for them to show up despite them being aware that I was stranded in Philly with a 5 month old and 5 year old and lived more than an hour away. The tow came, the order from my roadside assistance provider was for them to take it to my dealership which was 55 miles away. About 30 mins later this COWARD has his driver text me saying that they can’t drop the car at the dealership when it’s not open. Your car is too expensive we are worried it will get stolen. Don’t worry we have lots of surveillance and insurnace on our lot. Oh yeah? You have more insurance and surveillance than a luxury car dealer with 10s of millions in inventory?? First of all we are not morons so we knew this wasn’t right but also we just used this service a few months prior and the car was dropped off and key left in the drop box with paperwork after hours. The driver wanted nothing to do with us directed us to “call the owner” on the flyer. Who we proceeded to call and text until he answered. I guess his sociopathic fragile ego didn’t like how a woman was talking to him and exposing his scamming so he started texting me telling me I’m rude and nasty. Meanwhile he’s trying to steal and hold my 140k car while I’m stranded with a baby and toddler. So then he called my husband and was picking a fight with him. Once my husband set him straight and let him know this was not a matter of insurance, that roadside assistance issued the tow, he realized he wasn’t going to be able to scam insurance money and he changed his tune! He still refused to tow the vehicle that night even Tho my husband (the owner) would be intercepting it. The next morning when I realized the car was still in the same spot, I started texting him that I was reporting it stolen. Then all of the sudden he put the car on the road to my dealer. My husband intercepted the tow truck driver at the dealership. The driver was the same guy from the night before. The driver stated that when he took our car back to the lot, the owner told him to drop the car and go home and sleep! Then the driver got called in the next morning on his day off to drive it to the dealer an hour each way when he just wanted to do it the night before (like they were paid and directed to do). This driver just started working there he wasn’t hip to the scams but now he knows. This guy is involving his unknowing employees in his lies and fraud, he’s the lowest of lows! Hes been removed from my roadside assistance provider list (he will no longer be able to tow or do anything with this company) but I’m also filing a police report and reporting him to the BBB. If there were minus stars I will give them -5. If you saw the previous comments about insurance fraud. It’s so true!! Please tell your insurance companies do not use Maximus as your tow provider. They towed my car on Sunday noon and claimed it would be towed to the repair shop. But instead they towed it to their lot and they were reluctant to talk to us. We made so many phone calls and finally Jamal at Maximus told us they wanted State Farm to pay the storage fees first then he will tow the car to the repair shop. Maximus is clearly taking advantage of the insurance and they collected $495 storage fee for 5 days in their procession before they were willing to tow my car to the repair shop on a busy Friday afternoon at 4pm!! First, Jamal told us that they could not drop off the car because the repair shop is closed. Then on another call, Jamal told us that they knew where to drop off the car to the designated repair shop and the key in the lock box. In fact, Jamal also told me he knew the location of the repair shop very well! He should have dropped off the car on Sunday but they chose not to until 5 days later on a busy Friday afternoon. I am going to report the fraud to the better business bureau so no one will have to suffer the same experience as ours. It’s a terrible experience for us to endure for 5 days without knowing where the car was and when the car would be towed. Don’t use them!
