I would highly recommend Midas in Brighton. Just had some work done there, manager and head mechanic were super nice guys and very knowledgeable. Kudos to them!!

Very greedy and cold. The salesman at the front was extremely unfriendly despite me being polite and in a dire situation. He wanted to charge me 90$ for a rim alignment on one of my tires and wouldn’t let me fill my flat tire with air, so I had to drive on it for a mile. I drove to discount tire with the flat and they offered to aligned the rim for free and filled up all my tires for FREE. Big difference, treat your customers better.

My Chysler 200 AWD was making odd noises and numerous shops could not determine the issue. Brendan looked at the car, put it on the rack and determined the issue within minutes. Worked with my schedule around my vacation to have the vehicle parts ready upon my return. He even removed the directional tires from the rims to do a tire rotation correctly, who does that? Bredan noticed the oil cooler leaking and offered a fair price to repair with an improved part so this would not likely happen in the future. Bredan also noticed my water pump was leaking and a hose, He changed tose out as well. Very please with the top executive level service provided. Have recommended this shop to anyone that i hear is in need of automobile service. Everything is explained as to why, how, and when ......something hard to find today...

After an appointment for an oil change I shuffled around my day to make the 45 minute drive for the $29.99 oil and rotate service. Once I arrived I walked in and the man asked what he could help me with. I then told him that I had made an appointment online for and oil change. He then said “oh I declined that appointment because we are too busy to get you in” I said I just drove 45 minutes to get here. He says “we can get you in but it will be 2 hours” I was upset at the situation and figured rather than lose my cool I should just walk out. That’s what I did and I would never give them my business nor recommendation. Horrible experience and a total waste of time. Don’t have open appointment times you can’t accommodate. This wasted 45 minutes, 120 miles and $20 in gas. Do better business.

Can't tell you how impressed I am with the the new Midas on Grand River. Besides getting a full-synthetic oil change at what I would have paid the for the oil alone, my oil change at Midas included tire rotation and an extremely comprehensive check of nearly every functional component of the vehicle at no additional cost. The people that work there, including and particularly the manager Rafe (pronounced Rayf), are highly knowledgeable and helpful rather than pushy. I believe I have (finally!) found my new go-to place for automotive service in Brighton.
