I took my car in to this business due to when I turned off engine there was all kind of messages coming up on dash. After car sat a while the battery was going dead. I took it into Midas.on Blackstock and they said they had to replace the alternator and would have to remove the front end of car to get to the alternator. I picked it up and was.charged over $1800. It did the same thing the next time I drove it. I called and they said to bring it back in. I did and a.mechanic told.me it was due to the sunroof leaking and I needed.to take it to a body shop. I did and the sunroof is NOT LEAKING. I ended up taking it to a.reputable auto shop and had to pay another $859 to fix the problem which didn't have anything to do with the alternator. I took the original alternator to two different places to have it checked and there was nothing wrong with the alternator. I called Midas and asked.to speak with owner, David, and they said he was.out of town and he would call me when he gets in town, but I never heard anything from him and that's been over a week ago. I have used this shop for years for all my automobile work and now they rip off a 73 yr old lady that trusted them. THEY WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN OR ANYONE ELSE THAT I CAN SAVE FROM THEIR DISHONEST PRACTICE. They should close this business down.

I was in Spartanburg with my mother and aunt on a trip. We were leaving to come home to FL when I felt my brakes going out on the interstate. I pulled into the Midas parking lot and got my vehicle stopped. My brake booster had gone out. David got us right in, got the booster and repaired it that same day. They advised us on a place to stay that night and went out of their way to help us. They were wonderful and went out of their way to get us back on the road safely. I would recommend them to anyone!

Quality and professional car care service, with a touch of southern hospitality. . Randy and Archie went out their way explain the services I needed. I was treated like he was talking to a friend ,more than a customer. With a oil change comes with a full inspection,which is relief so I can be aware of my car needs in advance. As a female customer,I was treated with professional and honest service. This is now my new car service center! Come on in for your car needs and expect quality customer service!

I have to say, outstanding automotive service, fixed right the first time, Dave and his team of outstanding hard working automotive technicians will have you set and ready to go when needed. Your safety is thier number 1 concern with wonderful people skills, 1 word Family, this place makes you feel like family from beginning to end. I wouldn't recommend any other automotive shop other than this Midas alone.
