Miura Auto Repair

Mr. Miura is a really great mechanic, with lots of years under his belt. I used to get my car serviced there quite often before I've became a mechanic myself. His work definitely talks for itself and I highly recommend him! Hope he is doing well :) (picture is 2017)

Haven't had any issues with Mr. miura. It's nice seeing a humble family business. My dad's been taking his car here for a while and always gets good service. Labor prices are different across the board at any shop, if you think you can do it yourself in X amount of time, then don't complain when a mechanic is charging you based off of his worth.

Went to have my rear trailing arms replaced, having already bought new arms and planned to replace them myself, but the bolts were too stubborn to remove. Reviews were great for this shop, so I wanted to try them out. Now, to remove the arms, you only need to remove 2 bolts on both side of the car (4 bolts total). The arms easily slide out and are easily accessed. Should only take 30min to 1 hr to replace. It's an easy job. Mr. Miura quoted me almost $140 to do the job. Essentially, 2 hours of labor to do a job that really shouldn't take more than an hour to do. I tried to talk down the price, but wouldn't budge from the price. $140 on just labor alone is a ripoff. Do yourself a favor and read up on what the parts and labor as well as time for the repair are before taking your car here. Or you're likely to gouged.
