This address is now Rector & Sons Welding and Fabricating with additional entity of “Ole Thrifty Muffler.” We provide all types welding and fabrication, exhaust work, converters, and custom mufflers. I had my exhaust done on my 7.3 Godzilla and I’m very pleased with it. They didn’t use the cheap thin pipe like other places in town use. Keith is the best to work with.

Man I'll say if u want it done good and fast this is the place for u. Had my 1998 GMC V8 straight piped with no cats and they had it done no less than an hour. My truck sounds to good that I'm definitely coming back. If you are looking for people to trust this is the perfect place for you.

Someone I know used this place. Well a couple of people. They were never quoted a price. They went ahead and fixed it without a quoted price. It was way over-priced according to other mechanics I talked to. I asked for an itemized list and they refused to give one. Several times. Just a lot of unanswered questions and the owner acted like he didn't know what was going on in his own business. I should have been wearing boots because he fed us a lot of BS. If they were the last mechanic in Waynesville I'd fix it myself.

This place is awesome. They had me in and out with a new muffler in under 2 hours. Even offered me a ride to get breakfast while my truck was being fixed. Would recommend to anyone
