Parts shops like these are hard to come by, and thanks to Motor City's Instagram posts, we get an in depth look at what's building, behind the scenes! I myself purchased a lift kit and it's complementing accessories and needed help with my selection. Thanks to their great customer service, I was able to get great info and complete my purchase without issue. Parts are of great quality!

Mark is very knowledgeable and has top quality parts! I built my 1972 Blazer from the ground up and he was able to answer all my crazy questions and had the parts to fit. I have switched over from buying junk parts from other companies on all my restorations!

Ordered the rear window channel felts for my 1988 GMC Jimmy, they sent Velcro cloth backing. Though I ordered felt? I got ripped off, bought half a Velcro strip for $50. I spoke with Mark at Motor City K5. He was very sympathetic to my concerns. I understand the window channel material is a product offered by Precision. Unfortunately for Motor City K5, they have to deal with customers like me that might have overly high expectations. Mark understood my issue with the pricing and he was apologetic and offered to refund my money. Mark did assure me that this product works very well and the he himself has this product installed on his own K5. I am impressed with Mark's ability to be helpful. I will give Motor City K5 a 5 star rating based on Mark's professionalism and willingness to make it right. As for Precision, I'm not sure yet. Update 7-20-20, the felt / velcro strip, works as designed. So far there's been no binding or any slow window movement issues since the install. The window does fit snug in the channel, so I am happy with the fitment.

It's been 10 weeks since i placed my order and Mark told me it would be 5 weeks for the order to ship. Still haven't recieved it, Mark guaranteed it would be shipped 3 weeks ago and I'm still waiting. Have called several times, his voicemail is full so can't leave a message. He does not respond to any emails either. He has $745 of my money. If I don't hear from him by the 29 th of this month I will be suing him. That will be exactly 3 months since the order was placed.

I bought not one front drive shaft but two from them, and after the second one failed I realized it wasn’t the truck anymore yet the product, the cv didn’t come greased at all and there was no notice to grease anything, plus you have to remove one u-joint to get to the grease hole and you have to have a special needle style. And when I called to see if they could swap them out for one that works. They were rude and told me it was my fault. I went to rebuild the shaft with all new u joints and the u joints for a Ford when the shaft I bought was for a Chevy k5 blazer.... luckily the Napa guys were nice enough to dig around and find the right ones. Would not recommend not worth the trouble.
