Motorcity Speed / Billy Briggs racing engines

Came to Motorcity Speed needing a transmission tune for my 00' SS. Drove 2 hours to finally get the car to someone who knows what they're doing. Can't say enough good things about Motorcity Speed. Was treated like a big money guy evan though I'm not. In this time of uncertainty, businesses like Motorcity Speed gives me hope for the future. I took my 70 Chevelle 454 to Motor City Speed after a nightmare experience with another shop of similar name nearby. Motor City Speed was EXCELLENT to work with. Very professional, quality work, and do what they say, when the say, and very good quote accuracy. HIGHLY recommend. (clutch work, rear end ratio change, suspension upgrades, 4-disc brake conversion, wheels and tires, HP upgrades)

Can’t say enough good things about Billy, Rich and Jeff! From the time I first called to inquire about services to my 72’ Chevelle Malibu, until I picked it up road ready, the crew at Motor City was attentive, informative, and efficient. If you want a place that won’t screw you around, look no further. Case in point, I had something I wanted to do to my engine that would have made them another couple of grand $$$….and they advised against it!!! Also, when I picked up my ride, it was cleaner than I left it….not the norm these days. It is clear from the moment you walk in that this is a Pro place, for Pro services. Spotless workshop, organized like an OCD wife, and deeply knowledgeable. Lastly, when I told them I was deploying out in a few weeks and wanted to drive my ride before I left….they fit me in on their own time. Huge favor, and extremely generous. I brought my built-for-boost f body to Rich for a tune after installing a full fuel setup. Turns out I brought Rich a basket case of a car, with the previous street tune it had being a total mess!! (if you have a certain guy in mind from Port Huron, run away). Rich treated the car like one of his own, and simply would not quit until it was perfect. I'm blown away buy his unique combo of skills and kindness. Michigan's LS guys and girls are lucky to have Rich. Rich, keep being you!

Billy Briggs rebuilt my Pontiac Tempest OHC-6 engine and Motor City Speed performed the installation work. All work was flawless. I highly recommend this shop for quality work.
