Mountain View Body Shop

My bumper got ripped off from a parking accident 18 months ago and got Mountain View Body Shop to fix it. They had to order a replacement bmw m-sport bumper and repaint it. Fast forward November 2024 I noticed some paint peeling/bubbling around my headlights on both side. I brought it to the shop and was told it's not covered by warranty as curb rash under the bumper can cause this. What? Had the car for 3 years and same curb rash on the bottom bumper didn't cause this issue yet they use this as an excuse. Andrew the manager told me in November he will email the head manager "to see what they can do,". I called in December, January and more recently early February 2025, still no call back from the shop for any resolution.

I recently used their services for my car and I can’t recommend them enough. As an immigrant and a first timer to the complexities of car repairs in the US, the process seemed daunting especially as I was not making use of my insurance. I asked around a few body shops before I went with Mountain View Body Shop and I am glad I did. They did quality repairs on my car and the cost was reasonable for the work. The manager Andrew was pleasant to interact with and kept me updated regularly on the progress of the work. Overall, I am one happy customer!

I went there for a ruff estimate and he wanted to charge me 500. The topper is even if I went with them the 500 was not included in the repair cost so I would be charged twice. I have never gotten this response from any body shop before. Don't take your Tesla or any repair to these scam artists. I understand for disassembly and assembly again but to charge twice even if I give you my business is egregious.

I had a fantastic experience at Mt. View Body Shop. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and stress-free. Andrew, the manager, was exceptional. He provided clear communication throughout the process, demonstrating professionalism, transparency, and incredible attention to detail. Additionally, the rate was very competitive. The office staff was equally pleasant and efficient. When I picked up my car, I was blown away. It was meticulously cleaned and looked better than new! The post-service care was top-notch.
