Mountain View Tire & Auto Service

Mountain View was such a pleasant surprise. I usually loathe getting an oil change, because I feel, being a woman, that they try and sell me any and everything. But not here! I even said I needed a headlight replaced. They came in waiting room and said, after checking it, that the light was fine. They easily could have said I need 2 headlights, and I would have believed them. What a refreshing change! I’ll definitely be back!

Excellent Service Once Again! This is my second oil change with Mountain View Tire and Auto Service this year, and the experience was just as great as the first. Skye did an excellent job explaining the needs of our 2011 Odyssey. He provided a detailed report with photos and patiently answered all of my questions. It’s refreshing to receive such transparent and thorough service. Very happy with the overall experience—highly recommend!

Horrible service....no service at all. They said an oil change would take anywhere from 1-1.5 hours, left my car and came back 2 hours later and they didn't even touched my car! And they redeemed my Groupon voucher without the service even being provided and now it will take me days to get a refund. What a big headache! I shouldn't have to wait hours for an oil change. Never coming here again! Also, they tried to tell me it will be an additional $25 on top of what I already purchased. I've had my oil change done plenty of times before and it always takes 5 quarts they said my car take more than that (lies) and it would be an additional $25? Rip offs!!!

These guys always do a great job when I need something done. Just needed a simple tire patch, and when I got home, I noticed they not only balanced my wheel better than a previous shop, but replaced all 4 valve stem caps, and replaced 2 of my worn out lug nuts. Small things I know, but great customer service if you ask me. A lot of shops would only due bare minimum now a days. The only negative thing I have to say is about the new answering service. Now when you call to make an appointment, you talk to some answering service who knows where, and they have to transfer you to the shop if you have any more than an appointment question. Why can’t I just call the shop and talk so someone there the 1st time! It used to be much more personable, but corporate changes I guess.

Just God awful customer service. The worst service manager is definitely at the Chatsworth location. Dropped off my truck at noon for a simple low tire pressure & rotation. The service manager said he would call me in a couple of hours. Never did. I tried calling & the phone goes to an office site operator. It never goes direct to the Chatsworth location. I finally show up there at 4:45 & it was never done saying they were very busy. Pure lies. Nobody was there. Please do not ever take your vehicle there for anything way overpriced with negative customer service. I will never ever go there again. Save yourself the frustration & please go elsewhere.
