This place is truly honest and trustworthy. Whenever we have issues with our tires, we always go to Mountain View Tire, and every time, we receive friendly and fast service. Amilcar, in particular, quickly identifies our problems and does his best to help. I’m happy that I no longer have to go elsewhere, get overcharged, and feel stressed. I highly recommend this place!

My sister brought her 2016 suburu forester here. They told her she needed a new battery, front and back brakes, ball joints, and airfilter. As soon as she mentioned airfilter to me, I grew suspicious because I had changed the main airfilter and cabin airfilter for her in her last oil change 3000 miles ago. She then went to autozone, where they inspected her battery. The battery was in perfect working charge, and they said that a replacement is not necessary. I then checked the brakes, airfilter, and ball joints. I am shocked that the brakes were 70% new. I then found out that our brother had them replaced 2 years ago with lifetime warranty ones. Please see picture of the brakes below. The airfilter had very little dust on it but still good for another 8000 miles at-least. I DO NOT recommend everyone going here for any car repair or checkup. These people, like some other mechanics shops, take advantage of women and those whom they see as unaware of cars or how they work. They have mechanics on commission, which then leads to the same mechanics to lie so they can make more money to do repairs that are not necessary. Until they root out these problems, stay away from this mechanic shop.

Bought my tires over the phone they were super helpful. When I came in they let me know that there machine was broken to install the tires, but went above and beyond to make sure I had great service. Since I couldn't fit the tires in my car the manager let me borrow his car! Everyone was nice and super helpful. I will definitely be coming back.

My experience at Mountain View is always the best. I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and the environment to be welcoming. The work on my car is always completed within a reasonable period of time. They consistently provide high-quality service and transparent pricing, which gives me confidence in their workmanship. Additionally, they take the time to explain any necessary repairs and answer all of my questions thoroughly. This level of care and professionalism reassures me that my car is in good hands.

I’ve been going to Upland location for 10 years or so. Went recently for an oil change. While waiting I overheard someone say we need 10 cars at $1000. Chris came in and told me I also needed two rear tires and rear shocks because they were leaking oil and quoted me $1100. I said I would think about it. I then went to handle the shocks myself. When I pulled the tires off, there was no oil leak whatsoever on the rear shocks. They were fine. I called Chris at the shop and explained the situation and he said he’d get back to me. Never heard from him. It’s a shame considering how long I was a customer. Unfortunately it now makes me wonder what else I didn’t need and paid them for. Won’t go there again.
