Mountain View Tire & Auto Service

I dropped my car off as soon as they opened at 730am as a walk in and they didn't start working on my car until I called them at 1 pm. They then called me at 3 and said my car was ready and I gave the cashier 400$ cash and the rest as a card payment. I clearly asked him to double count my cash and he put it in the system wrong and called me 2 hours later saying I short changed him when I clearly asked him to double count my cash. He called me saying I was the only person who paid cash so I basically stiffed them! It's his responsibility to make sure the right amount of cash is going into there register! I'm literally only 22 years old and this is my first car and my first time buying tires and I had an awful experience! I feel taken advantage of Not only did I have to drive 30 minutes back but I felt as if I was called a thief and they did a half fast job putting on my tires as you can see there's some gooey stuff or the stuff they use to seal it all over all 4 of my rims! I bought these tires brand new and they're not even shiny or polished. I'm so disappointed as I heard nothing but good things about this place. I will not be returning and I would not recommend.

We had 60k miles on our Corolla hybrid with 0 issues, until we changed all four of our tires here. Ever since changing the 4 tires, 3/4 of our valve stems have been loose and leaking air. You can tap on the valve stem with your finger and hear the air leak. Front desk told us that it’s normal for valve stems to “wear” and start leaking over time. When was the last time anyone had a car with 3/4 valve stems “wear out” after a complete tire change, at around 60k miles? Had many cars, with more miles, and they never had this issue. It seems as though it was an installer issue, they said they couldn’t do anything about it. We had them FIX the issue, and paid for it, and still had the problem. I am going to guess that the TPMS were not mounted correctly. This issue wasted a lot of our time. Make sure you check on your valve stems before leaving, lol.

I found myself in a predicament where I had to take my car here because I was referred by silver rock unfortunately it was the battery, but it took them five hours to diagnose my vehicle and they still charge me the diagnostic fee of $100. they charge me 270 for the battery and they charge 180 for the labor cost so a total of 587. On the invoice, they said they inflated my tires, but I took a video while I was leaving. They didn’t inflate my tires. I have kids in the car the other issue I have I didn’t get paid yet and my husband was out of town so my mother-in-law had to come down and pay for it for me and when she paid for it, they handed the keys back to her even though the cars in my name my mother-in-law said why are you handing the keys back to me? It’s her car weird behavior From very strange older men if you’re a female do not go here weird energy for sure. I’ll be letting everyone I know, including on my business social media accounts about the service I received and why I felt uncomfortable in your place of business and to not go to any of your other affiliates which I’ve already looked up

I've tried two different services here. The first time I went was to get an oil change, and upon completion of the oil change the price they charged me was over $80 more than they had quoted me prior to beginning this service. They quoted me knowing in full detail what my vehicle was and what quantity of oil they'd be using. They also said so much more was wrong with my truck than actually was, tried to overcharge me even more for no reason. The second time I went was just to get air put in my tires. I figured there is no way this can go wrong, right? Well the guy that came out did not fill my tires even remotely, he inflated them for a second and when I said that my light was still on he said "well that's as good as it gets unless you want to do it yourself". So ridiculous, just save yourself the stress and go ANYWHERE else but here. It's so unfortunate that this place is allowed to be run so lousily.

Took it in for a brake service. They did a horrible job. My car sounded like a public bus. Took my vehicle back to get my brakes redone. And they call me to tell me that my vehicle had been crashed during the test drive. Their insurance is refusing to fix my vehicle and wants to give me less money than my car is worth. Turned out to be a complete nightmare. Would not recommend this place to anyone l.
