Beware of Negligent Practices at Newtech Automotives I recently had a terrible experience at Newtech Automotives, and I feel compelled to share my story to warn others. I brought my BMW 650i to this shop for what I thought was a routine repair, but it turned into a nightmare. From the beginning, the service was subpar. The mechanic misdiagnosed the issue with my vehicle, causing unnecessary delays and inconvenience. Even worse, their initial repair work on a coolant leak was shoddy, using aftermarket parts and installing them so tightly that it led to coolant mold buildup. Things took a turn for the worse when severe engine damage occurred shortly after their "repair." Despite clear evidence pointing to their negligence, including diagnostic comments from BMW mechanics and an assessment by a nationwide third-party inspector, the mechanic and their insurance company refused to take responsibility. Shockingly, they even had the audacity to dismiss the damage as "normal wear and tear." Adding insult to injury, the estimate provided by BMW dealership to rectify the damage was a staggering $25,430 , further emphasizing the severity of the damage caused by Newtech Automotives' negligence. This lack of accountability and professionalism is unacceptable. It's clear that the mechanics at Newtech Automotives lack the expertise and integrity necessary to properly service high end vehicles. I urge anyone considering using this shop to proceed with extreme caution. In conclusion, my experience with Newtech Automotives was nothing short of a nightmare. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place at all costs.

Ask for Mike, he will be honest with you every time. My family and I have been going to him for many years only trust him with our cars. His prices are always fair. He will never try to sell you on extra work and if the car runs without absolutely needing the work he will tell you that also. He will also recommend good cars for purchase / the most reliable cars if you ask. Best mechanic around.

Mike and Newtech has been our family mechanic since the 90s. He is amazing, fair, and always goes beyond when fixing cars. He's the type of guy that will fix a problem he sees while fixing the initial problem and casually say hey by the way I saw this problem while I was in there but I took care of it and it not even be on the bill. He genuinely cares for the safety of his customers and there have been times where I was out of town and being a woman people try to charge me more for stuff, I've called Mike like hey im in another universe and this is the problem with my car and this is what they are charging is this a fair price? He didn't mind those calls and he would tell me. Mike has been a blessing and there is no other mechanic I trust more than Mike and Newtech.

I have used Mike and Newtech Auto since 1994, originally as a female college student with an older Nissan Sentra. Blown head gasket at that time....he told me what was needed, the price and it was very reasonable and told me exactly the issue. I continue to go back to Mike because I know he is a great mechanic.
