Nissan City of Port Chester Service

I’ve been taking my car here since I moved to the area 10 years ago. Never again. Last month (November 2024) I took my car in for regular service and after the multi point inspection it came out with a clean bill of health. I quote, “you take really good care of your car.” I knew eventually I was needing breaks and coming home from Thanksgiving the previous week it was finally time. Fast forward a month later (December 2024) I take it in. They do a multi point inspection and BAM! hit me with $6k worth of things that are “critical” to fix on my car in addition to my brakes. I inquired and was told the rationale, “you put 1,000 miles on the car.” I wasn’t born yesterday. I know that 1k miles would not do that much wear and tear to my car and the previous multi point inspection came back with nothing to work on. Also, I did not put 1k miles on my car, I put 540, so Nissan lied right there. Whoever was previously running this place would at least forewarn me of things needing work, not sending me off with a vehicle thinking everything is just great! They also jerked me around about when my car would be ready because I had a tight schedule. They made one excuse after another on everything. I asked for at least a discount for my troubles and they couldn’t even do that! When I could finally get my vehicle and confronted about all of this I was met with more lies and just avoidance and down right rudeness. Standing right in front of their service representative and he would answer the phone while I was in the middle of speaking to him. Absolutely unacceptable. Do not trust this place and whoever is running it. This was the last time I’m taking my car here. DO NOT GO HERE WITH YOUR CAR, they will take advantage of you!

They made up some story about my mom's car not being able to get an oil change because there was some "dent in the oil pan". They wanted to sell me a new one and add on labor costs for changing it. Then the next day I took it to another mechanic with her (she had the day off), and she watched as the oil change was done easily without any problems.

I'd give them zero stars if I could. Henry is the saving grace and Hector is very knowledgeable kudos to them both. Other than that, the service manager doesn't keep to his word and worker Ricardo is disrespectful to the customers and the workers. Save your time and money don't go here

At first I thought this was a good place. Friendly staff, easy purchase. But then they tried to scam me in so many ways. First they gave me an offer for financing that wasn't applied and luckily I noticed it once I got home and immediately called them back and eventually they sent me the money back. Then they canceled another offer that came with the car, which is the free oil change for life. It took a lot of arguments and I was able to get a few free oil change over the first 2 years, but eventually they stopped caring. So ultimately, all what made this a good deal was fake, and I would have been better of by buying in the city and not going all the way to Port Chester.

Highly recommend Luis and Francisco were knowledgeable and understood my needs so I'm happy to say I went with a brand new Pathfinder.
