Northport Spring & Brake

We used Northport Spring & Brake for 8 broken welds and a bent support rib on our 37' class A motorhome. What an amazing transaction! From beginning too end, Sean made it a point to work with us and our manufacturer's warranty for a huge job. He was an absolute professional. Made us feel confident from the get-go that we found the right shop for this kind of job. They had no problem with our size rig and the drive in/out was smooth. We'll be going back there for any future work and would recommended Northport Spring & Brake for any motorhome repair.

This is the most disreputable mechanic I have ever used. I pulled in for a routine diesel truck inspection. They saw a woman driving a Ram 3500 and saw $$$$$$. All I needed was a simple oil change (I've paid $189 for a routine oil change every time for the 3 years I've owned the vehicle) and a routine inspection, which is $35. When I went to pick up my truck, they told me my bill was $580! That's 3 times the price of my regular mechanic! The only reason I was using them was for the convenience. Since they were already inspecting the truck, I figured they could also do the oil change. Kill 2 birds with one stone. It never occurred to me that they'd be 3 times the price. When I questioned the exorbitant fee - he literally told me and I quote, "The repair facility where you previously serviced your truck is a shop that predominantly does car repairs and we are a speciality truck shop." So, the owner of Northport Spring and Brake thinks that it is ok to price gouge truck owners? When asked what the difference is between his oil change and my regular mechanic he said, "come in and we can discuss it." Ladies, tell your truck driving husbands to stay clear of this incredibly dishonest company and if you drive a truck do what I did.....refuse to pay the ridiculous price and pay the $189 for the oil change and $35 for the inspection and let the world know of their complete & utter dishonesty!!
