I would be hard pressed to find anyone I trust more with my car than Alex. After experiencing strange noises when I drove my car, I first took it to a popular franchise shop which proceeded to tell me it was an issue with my transmission (they also recommended I get new brakes.) After sharing the unfortunate news with Alex, he agreed to take a look at my car and found the REAL problem - my very worn down brake pads, rotors, and stuck pins on my calipers. And my transmission was absolutely fine. Alex quite literally saved the day, and I have such immense gratitude and appreciation for him and his entire team. 100/10 would recommend!

since NV auto repair is on route to work and my car needing brake work, I decided to stop and schedule a time to secure a free estimate as signage indicated, Alex Matos briefly met with me but explained he could not assist me since shop was closing soon. Asked me to return the next day in the morning. As I only planned to secure first estimate of multiple, I agreed. I returned to shop the next day and was immediately met by Alex with a positive and hopeful attitude. I explained my theory on what I my car needed. Alex quickly inspected car tires, brakes and associated parts. Alex explained the work needed to repair brakes, offered me options that would fit into my budget and others not so budget friendly but safer in the long run. Asking for his honest opinion, I asked what he would do if issue was with his car. I chose to take written estimate and return after visiting other local shops. Since Alex made me feel very comfortable and quote fell within my planned budget, I agreed to permit work on car planning to return when he contacted me indicating work was complete. Confirmed with Alex of likely window to complete work. Since window was relatively short for such work, I decided to wait while work being performed. 2 hours passed while work was completed. A brief test drive was performed to ensure safety. Overall, a very positive experience on all fronts. Alex was fantastic and the work as promised. I I will return to NV in the future. Customer service is top notch.

We asked friends for a recommended auto mechanic and multiple people immediately responded that we should call Alex at NV Auto. They were right! Alex is amazing - he went above and beyond to service our car quickly. He honest, efficient, and explains everything thoroughly. Highly recommend!!!

I am beyond impressed with the service I received on my car today. Alex was able to fit me in, in a timely fashion. The cost of services are more than reasonable. I dropped my car off in the morning, walked to work across the street, and he even delivered my car upon completion. This is my new place for automotive care!

I brought in my car after experiencing some acceleration issues and an engine light. Alex was incredibly nice, helpful, and informative. He listened and diagnosed the problem, helped get parts on a discount, and was able to fix the problem with my car immediately, no wait. I would highly recommend going to him with any kind of car issue. Very trustworthy, helpful, easy-going guy.

I was in IL from out of state to look at purchasing a used vehicle. While out test driving something came up, and I stopped at an auto zone to have them see if any codes came up. Some codes came up and while talking to the associate there they suggested a mechanic just down the road to see if maybe they could take a Quick Look. They provided me the info for Alex Matos at NV Auto Repair. Not only were they super nice, you could tell they were in the middle of working on things but took a moment to listen to my situation, and take a look at the vehicle for me. Alex checked to see what codes came up, worked on Getty then sorted out, test drove the vehicle, checked the battery for me and listened to my questions and concerns about the vehicle in general. He gave me some advice for moving forward with the purchase of the vehicle, and really eased my mind on making this big purchase for my family. If I were located in IL I would be 100% switching my mechanic to Alex! You can tell they 100% genuinely care about their customers and not just making quick $$. If you don’t go here already, you really should!!
