One Stop Auto Shop

I was a customer here for several years and thought I was getting good service. However, lately I began to notice additions to my service which had not been approved. Initially these were small and so I let it go. However, I recently went there with a car that had been in a slight accident, resulting in a scratch. They gave an estimate of several hundred dollars and insisted that the scratches were too deep to be removed. But I after I insisted (and ended up trying it myself), it became clear that they were just trying to get me to pay for more than was needed. The paint came off and they told me to leave. I will never return to this place.

Just giving a review on my inquiry i made when calling the auto shop yesterday. I called to get pricing on a tire repair (tire patching). When i called they mentioned it was $40 for "requalar" tire, and $50 if a "tesla tire" I asked why the price jump on a tesla tire, he mentioned that it "takes 2 ppl to patch a tesla tire" long story short, do not get finessed by these men at One stop auto shop, chevron (gas station) on la cienega blvd does it for $30 no matter the car, and it only took one person to patch my tesla tire at Chevron. it seems like when a female calls this shop, they automatically over project on their prices.

My Fiance was a long-time loyal customer/neighbor to One Stop for many years, but I started figuring out she was being taken advantage of at different businesses. When she would go to a major oil change company, she would fall for their tricks... so when we were in a not at fault accident recently, I decided to deal with the insurance/repair shop. Long story short: I was in a hurry when I picked up the car, since I had errands to run for my business, so when I had a moment, I realized they did a HORRIBLE job on the side of the front bumper. It wasn't repaired, just painted over. That same day I brought the car back and was told, "That's weird, I will figure out why that was!" As I was leaving, Brad said, "I'll tell Geico the customer thinks it's part of the accident and he wants it done, and see what she says!" I took a mental note of how he worded that, because you would have to be a complete moron imho to not KNOW that is where the contact with the other car started, and it ran all the way down the side of the car, so OF COURSE it's from the same accident, smh. We left the car over the weekend (while paying for a rental out of pocket!), expecting this to be quickly resolved. I received a call from Brad, I believe, saying, "I talked to insurance and they said it wasn't covered." So I called insurance, and was told, "It WAS covered, they should have taken care of it." She said she would contact them, then get back to me. Since it was a Friday, I wasn't expecting much until Monday. Monday comes around and I get a call from One Stop basically saying, "She's saying it's not covered, did you talk to her?" So what ended up happening was, One Stop FAILED to go to bat for us, when it was OBVIOUSLY part of the same accident, 1000%. The original estimate was $1.1k or so, and they submitted a supplemental which brought it to around $3.3k+. The amount of work they did, even IF they actually did what they were supposed to do, was highway robbery imo. BUT, given the current economic conditions, overhead, etc. I can somewhat see it. But to repair paint transfer on front/rear passenger doors, replace right mirror assembly, and repair the plastic transfer from the other cars mirror... that much money w/NOT completing the job is insanity. So to end this, I'm not forced to try and repair it myself, or pay out of pocket for a TRUSTWORTHY company to do the job right. Geico dropped the ball almost as much as One Stop, imho. We both went in there and explained, "you HAD to know this was from that accident, since there's scientific evidence. Throw in a little common sense and integrity, and it should have been repaired!" We gave them an ultimatum: Make this right, like you know you should, or we're going to take our business elsewhere, file a complaint with the BBB, Attorney General, reviews, etc. They chose the option that has me leaving this review, unfortunately. As a fellow business owner, I completely disagree w/how they handled this. In this situation, I would have hopefully taken care of it from the start, went to bat for us w/insurance company, or repaired it myself, "on the house!" Imho, you should avoid this place unless you take my experience and stay on your toes w/them.

Went in with a check engine light on. I had been told by the dealer on the phone that it was a $900 fix (I know I know). A really nice man with a “Chavez” hat helped me out, he scanned the code told me it was not a big deal bc my car was running smoothly. Reset the light and told me to come back if it went back on and anything seemed amiss. He even gave me the error code so I could do my own investigating. He was so helpful and I got me out of there in literally 5 mins. This spot was recommended to me by a roommate who got his ac fixed in less than a day. For a great price. Thanks Chavez! Highly recommend giving them a try.

Two awesome experiences in a short week from these guys. They helped me take care of a repair paid for by someone who hit me without any trouble. Worked it all out with the other party and made it seamless for me. Later the next week, I had a check engine problem (unrelated) and at a critical time they checked my car out and made sure it was safe to drive. I highly recommend them.
