Organic Mechanic

I appreciate the expertise of the technicians at Organic Mechanic which I am confident will keep my car going for many years, but of equal importance for me is their understanding of their customers need to maintain a vehicle economically, and their integrity. I recently took my out-of-warranty 2016 Mini Cooper S in for a problem with the shifter. The technician told me exactly what the problem was and that BMW had extended the warranty on that particular assembly. He could’ve done the repair and I would’ve payed the bill and remained none the wiser. But his information, and recommendation of the best place to get the work done under warranty, saved me $850! What a great feeling to have a significant repair done and walk out the door without having to swipe a card! This isn’t the first time I’ve been to Organic Mechanic, and it definitely won’t be the last.

The Organic Mechanic was able to fit me in quickly when I called with a power steering issue. The team was thorough and prompt and Matt’s communication through the process was great!! Would highly recommend and plan to use them again in the future, if I need to.

We made an appointment, so we brought my son's mini in for a slipping clutch. We knew what the issue is a clutch replacement. We just wanted a quote for the cost of replacement. they wanted to charge us $150 for diagnosing what we already knew. Both guys were rude money grubbers. do not go here, do not be fooled by the ORGANIC name the vibe is super low

“I had an appointment with Organic Mechanics for my Mini on 1/6/2025, scheduled since 12/18. My car was towed in and ready for work by 10 AM, but I wasn’t informed of any updates. I had to call Tuesday, only to find out they were working on it. By Wednesday, they admitted being short-staffed, and on Friday, they blamed snow for another delay. On Monday, I was told the mechanic had a personal emergency, and I finally got my car back on Tuesday—a full week later. The work (battery and heat sensor replacement) was done well, but they need to communicate delays honestly. Being upfront instead of making excuses would have made a big difference.”

I was in a predicament the day before I was to return to Philadelphia, my check engine light came on. I wanted to be sure I was going to be able to make my 9hr journey safely and not be broken down somewhere in between. Luckily my local friend recommended organic mechanic, they were absolutely helpful and quickly remedied the situation. Not only did they fix the issue in a timely fashion, they provided me a through diagnostic and the option to address them or not. No questions asked. My experience there was stellar. I was treated with courtesy and respect. Bert was friendly and personable, seemed like a stand up guy. I made it back to Philly w/o any issues. When I move to Asheville, they will have another loyal customer. I can’t thank you folks enough for all you did. Your service is unmatched.
