We limped in our rv to his shop to try to get some help. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the fuel pump issue we were having. We showed up on a Friday night 15 minutes before they closed. He was ready to work on it Monday morning but we tweaked a few things and got it running. He was going to come back after dinner to check on us but we decided to take our chances. I would highly recommend this shop.

After a totally negative experience with Emergency Response, I called Outlaw diesel. If there was a ten star option, that is what I would give I called them before open hours and the wife answered the phone. She made me feel comfortable from the very start. I was at at the shop at 9:00am when they opened and the husband was already aware of my situation. He loaded two guys in the company truck and followed me to the rv park where we were staying. The guys did what was need to be done so I could pull my 40’ fifth wheel to their shop. They even followed me in case I had a problem. Was plenty of room for my fifth the wheel and the repair work was started right away they got me back on the road that afternoon. I sent my wife in to take care of the bill while I secured everything inside the fifth wheel for the trip back home. This company did go way up and beyond and checked other potential problems. When my wife came out, I asked her if I needed to rob a bank Lol. She said you will not believe how great the final total of the repair was and she was totally right 10 stars and hats off to Outlaw Diesel and their entire crew. This was all done even though this is a very busy shop 😊😊

I can’t say enough about the service and hospitality we received at Outlaws. We went in for a fan clutch issue on our diesel pusher which was fixed in one day. A radiator problem was discovered during the service and they did everything they could to get it repaired. Parts across the country are hard to come by these days but they were able to send it to a rebuild shop to be repaired. We had to stay in Williams for a week but Outlaws allowed us to plug our RV up to power and provided water for our tank. We stayed comfortably until the radiator came back. When it arrived they worked in the rain and late to get us back on the road. A week in Williams Arizona wasn’t on the agenda but the owners and staff at Outlaws made it enjoyable. If you are in the area and need service, you won’t be disappointed! Support small, local business with hard working Americans! Thank you Outlaws!!!! MD here we come 😊

The good: They allowed the gentleman that I rented my van to stay in the van on premise overnight. The bad: I had recently replaced the glow plugs in my vehicle. One of which I was unable to extract. I had rented my vehicle on outdoorsy and the problematic glow plug popped out on its own. I arranged to get it towed to the nearest shop. It was outlaw diesel. When I was contacted by the renter about the breakdown, I had a general idea that it was the glow plug. So, drove down to the shop myself (3.5 hour drive) with the glow. I arrived before the shop was even open. I was able to diagnose the issue before they opened. I brought the glow plug with me and lacking an extension to install it myself. I asked them if they could install it. It was maybe a 5 min job. They stated that they would not be held liable if it broke down again. I told them I would take full responsibility. They refused. Said that they needed to see if debris fell into the cylinder and the threads were probably ruined. I then asked them to verify both and we could go from there. They took the van for such diagnosis. And, confirmed that the threads were ruined and they would have to remove the head to rethread. I was there already and agreed to such. They got back to me a week later with a $1500 repair cost. I agreed. But, also knowing that the head was to be removed it would be an ideal time to replace the injectors. They were going to be removed anyways should not be any added labor or very minimal. So, I asked for an estimate with the injectors replaced. They never got back to me so a few weeks later I inquired. They stated that the mechanics father had a medical emergency so work was to be postponed. I readily agreed and told them to take their time as for the vehicle was just for recreational purposes. They took months. I would call every few weeks to get a status. Nearly 6 months later I received the estimate. $9500 with the added injectors. I immediately replied I’d rather just repair the initial glow plug issue via email. But got nervous after no reply I called a few times until I finally got a hold of someone. They stated they had already started tearing it down. I told them no problem but just the glow plug issue. They then refused to work on the vehicle period and stated that I would have to tow it out and I would be charged a day fee for storage. This after them having the vehicle for months. I took me a pair of days to find a tow company to tow it back 3.5 hours to Las Vegas. They still charged me over $500 for the teardown. Once in Vegas I had a few weeks to put the van back together myself with the help of a mechanic friend of mines coaching. We found out that the threads that were theoretically stripped were fine and if they would have just taken the 5 min to install the glow plug I took them, all this would have been avoided. Such an awful experience. I did not want to write a review but was convinced to write for the benefit of others that end up going to this shop. As my mechanic friend said. It is shops like this that give mechanics a bad stigma.

Heading from California cross country to Ohio in a 1977 rv, broke down on the way, probably called a dozen different shops and mobile mechanics. Nobody would give me the time of day. Everyone was very standoffish, I don't know why but every mechanic shop in town was that way. I drove into Outlaws diesel unannounced, and was greeted by Larry who introduced himself and asked my name, welcomed me and was genuinely happy to see me and have my business. I would highly recommend them based on this alone and they're obviously High work ethic.
