This shop is incredibly professional, super transparent and all around awesome to work with. They did a phenomenal job fixing my beloved Tacoma. I was given a quote by another local Toyota company that involved a multi-thousand dollar overhaul of my truck, I brought it out to Stephen and his crew for a second opinion. I was pleasantly surprised they were able to run the same diagnostics as the other shop and create a solution that was effective for fixing my problem and well within my budget. It’s so hard to find honest and transparent businesses in this industry, it’s easy to be misled. Overland Cruisers is the exact opposite of that type of business. They are honest and transparent. Period. I would absolutely recommend Overland Cruisers for your Toyota and Lexus needs Angela, Jarid and the entire team helped us understand our problem, what fix was and got it done in a super timely matter with great communication. Used these guys a few times, the first time they put a bumper on my GX470 and the work was great. Ended up selling my GX and bought a LX570 and had them put a bumper on it and had a less than ideal experience. Stephen reached out afterwords and made sure to make it right. Stephen cares about his customers.

Stephen and the team at Overland Cruisers did an amazing job swapping a Cummins R2.8 into my 1987 HJ75 Troopcarrier after its original engine blew up. While working on the swap, they rebuilt the transfer case, regeared the diffs, installed an air locker, cut out rust, and fabricated countless brackets for the required swap. The whole time, Stephen was professional, communicative, and realistic about what to expect for the swap in terms of timeline, cost, and unexpected repairs that would surely arise when working on a 30+ year old car. Since picking up the Cruiser, I've put over 6,000 miles on the engine and Stephen was always on hand to answer any questions I have had along the way. Super professional. Super detail oriented. Super folks. They have kits developed for R2.8 swaps in the 40 series, 60, 70, and 80 so if you're in the market to give your old Cruiser a Cummins Repower, give the shop a call!

Paid for a top end engine rebuild with a warranty. My truck made it less than 200 miles before a bolt backed out. A bolt they did not touch according to them. Causing coolant to leak out . Causing my engine to overheat. I pulled over let it cool down. Drove it further to attempt to get to a town . It overheated again. Overland cruisers was nice enough to tow it back to their shop. They told me they would take care of me. They said this shouldn't have happened. But ultimately I was told all they could do was install a used engine . For another 5k. The price I paid for the rebuild that came with a warranty. That bolt backing out was a wild coincidence after being in a shop. My poor luck. Those bolts in 1980s back out real easy on their own. I did drive it too far though. Not too far after stopping to let it cool. Wish the temp Guage would have worked but it doesn't read without coolant in the line.

Overland Cruisers is excellent! Stephen and his team are extremely thorough, detailed oriented, and ensure that the problem is address efficiently and repaired correctly. I have used Overland Cruisers multiple times and have always been very pleased with the work they have performed. The shop is always easy to get in touch with, willing to discuss solutions, and ensure that you know exactly what needs to be resolved and how they will best address it.
