I came in for an appointment to get two tire pressure sensors replaced and was quoted $351. After waiting for 3 hours, I called for an update and was told they just received the parts and that it would be ready in another hour. An hour later, I got a call saying that the parts wouldn’t arrive until tomorrow. Thankfully I was able to cancel and didn’t have to pay what would've been an overpriced service. However, my vehicle had been sitting in the bay the whole time, so I’m upset it took them 4 hours to inform me they didn’t actually have the parts to begin with. Not a great experience.

Alex, Matt, & Brandon are super accommodating! I have been bringing my 2008 Nissan Armada to them for the past 3 years now. They are always honest, & very fair on pricing. I've never been "oversold or taken advantage of" whatsoever! It's the only place I will bring my vehicle to for maintenance, general repairs, & service! Ty guys, ya'll are awesome! Top quality!

I've been bringing my car to this location for about a year and I've had several issues but they are closest to my home and Alex is really nice and kind so I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt. However after today I will just have to travel farther because I will not continue to go to this location. I brought my car in last Monday for an evaluation. They told me what was wrong and that they needed to order parts. I always get a second opinion, so I did that and then called Friday to confirm I did want to move forward with service. I was told on the phone that the part would be ordered and arrive Tuesday so they set me an appt for Wednesday, today. I drop my car off and receive a call saying they needed to order the part??? The part that was supposed to be ordered LAST FRIDAY. Now I have to be further inconvenienced because someone didn't do their job. If it wasn't jeopardizing my job and livelihood I'd be more understanding but IT IS. This is extremely unprofessional & unacceptable service.

I was checked in by Matt at the front desk. I let him know that I needed an oil change and that I would like for him to run the codes for the check engine light. He told me that there would be a $99 charge for that. I’ve been to Pep Boys for over five years now and I have never been charged for that service . He said he had to pay his worker for his time, it literally takes 5 minutes to do what I was requesting. To make matters worse, another customer came in after me and requested the same thing and the employee named Alex took his keys went out ran his codes and told him what was wrong no charge. I got in my car and they forgot to put the oil change sticker on the vehicle. I went back inside and I asked Matt why was I told there was a $99 charge to run the codes for my check engine light since Alex was sitting there and he had just did it for free. He replied he thought I wanted a diagnosis and there would be a charge for that. But they did take my car back in, run the codes and put the oil change sticker on my car and I went on my way. I didn't feel like a valued customer at this Pepboys, but Alex came out, helped me, ran my codes and provided an explanation and that made me feel better

Matthew, the assistant manager was more than helpful today. I had my check engine light on and he was able to assist me right away and was very patient and provided great customer service. He was able to answer all my questions and help me resolve my issue within seconds.

DO NOT BRING YOU CAR HERE let me explain why, these people all of them may I say are scammers and liars I came here to fix my 2019 Mustang because the check engine light came on and it wasn't starting smoothly so I left the car there and they said it was the spark plugs and ignition coils so they fixed it for around $800! I then brought it back home the same day and the next day the SAME EXACT ISSUE was still present and then the check engine light came back on so we brought it back for them to look at it again and they kept it for 2 days trying to find the issue and they couldn't so after 2 days with no car to use they finally called me back after not saying a word for the 2 days we left it there and they said they couldn't find the issue and to come pick it up and when I came to come pick it up I found out that my car had 50 extra miles on it! Called to see what that was about and they said it was part of there (tests) i don't know what kind of test includes 50 MILES! worth but ok and they didn't even say they were going to be driving my car around for the testing they said they were going to (look) at it such sketchy people I'm telling you CANNOT TRUST these people with your car they clearly took my car for joy rides till they were done with it then just gave it back to me it's still broken by the way and they couldn't even bother to screw in the engine cover screws back so now my engine cover isn't even securely tightened onto the top of my engine I attached a video to this review if you don't believe me and if your wondering how I would know I had 50 extra miles on my car when I got it back I was smart enough to take a picture of my mileage before giving them possession of my vehicle and that's how I found out when they gave it back to me that they put miles on my car without me even knowing one can only imagine what else they did to my car if they couldn't even bother screwing in some screws into a engine cover! Please just go anywhere else but here............. PS went here to get my car serviced ended with my problem not being solved becoming even worse and wasting A LOT of time and money on repairs I didn't even need and not having a car for a total of about 3 days for a Minor engine missfire

They told me it would cost $151 + tax for spark plugs + installation. During the day they had my car they called saying that they had to do diagnostic tests and it will cost $356, I did not get a choice in this matter it was already done. After questioning why they had to do a diagnostic they got defensive on how expensive their staff is and how it took over an hour. Given the fact he was raising his voice and I was at work I didn't want to push the fact all I asked for was spark plugs. I called 3 additional pep boy locations got the same quote and asked them if they had to do diagnostic tests or anything and all 3 said no it's just routine maintenance. "All we do is take out the old plugs put the new ones in and call it a day". Upon receiving the keys and ready for payment I asked if they could explain why they did it. I said I already got my car checked at AutoZone and I needed plugs. They instantly got defensive again and said well we needed to make sure you were right. I explained that 3 other pep boys said this didn't need to be done and they raised their voice again and said look I'm already giving you a break by cutting off $40 of the diagnostic test. So apparently I was lucky I only had to pay $282 for a $151 service. I love pep boys but don't go to this location. EDIT: The manager called and apologized. They explained how some of the things I was charged was optional and I just wasn't given the option. They also explained why they did the diagnostic test and that yes it's not mandatory but this is why they do it. They apologized mainly for the lack of explanation of the charges as well as the lack of explaining the cost/possibility of running the diagnostic test.
