This place has horrible customer service. I made an appointment 2 days prior for 11am on 9/16/24 for a nail I had in my tire. I got brand new tires and I had originally taken it to Sam's club for a repair but I wouldn't be able to leave it there since I was in a rush. I then drove the Pep Boys since it is down the street from my work. Upon arrival to my appointment, I told the service advisor (female worker) that I was looking into patching my tire. She then proceeds to tell me "we won't have time to fix it today. We have too many vehicles to service and only have 2 technicians today." They only had 2 technicians working on a Monday? The day of the work week and they only have 2 technicians? I advised her I had an appointment and made the appointment 2 days prior. She then proceeded to ask me if she can see the tire to make sure it is repairable. I had already taken my tire off and switched it for the spare. Once I showed her the tire she informed me that it was not repairable. I advised her that I had just went to Sam's clubs tire center and they let me know it was repairable I just wouldn't be able to leave it since I had work. She then tells me that their patches are not able to curve on a tire and it can only be installed if it was on a flat edge. Notice in the picture, the nail is not on the side wall. It is definitely repairable with a patch. If she didn't want to help, she could've just said that instead of making excuses as to why she can't help. I drove my car back to Sam's Club tire center they advised me that they always receive negative feedback from ppl that go to pep boys. They were able to fix it within 20 min and did not have any issues. I will never go back to any Pep Boys again since this is not the first time I receive horrible customer service.

Manny checked us in and George took care of our car. They were both good at keeping us appraised of their findings. We went with a slow leak in one tire that ended up having 2 nails. Our replacement tire had to be special ordered but they got it that day and we went back and had it installed. They were efficient and forthcoming. Thank you.

I've been a long time customer of Pep Boys - Been to several different locations and they never disappoint - They have been there for me whenever I needed service with my car - Unfortunately I had a large screw get stuck in my tire and had another tire that had damage to the tire wall - Just to give myself a piece of mind I had my tire patched and bought 2 new tires with extended warranty - Cost a little over $300 and took about an hour from start to finish - All the ppl I have ever dealt with at all the different locations I have been to are all very nice - kind - accommodating and easy to talk to - I highly recommend any of the Pep Boys locations... 🫶🏻
