Went to get an oil change and they were able to get it done quickly. Sadat and the mechanics were really helpful and gave me some good advice regarding my car and the proper care I need to keep it lasting longer, what other repairs should be done to keep it running, they “gave it to me straight” to put simply. Overall incredibly helpful and I’ll probably be returning to them again in the near future.

Went to Pep boys on Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst to get windshield wipers.They didn't have my driver side size wiper.Sadat called to have one delivered while I waited. Thank you guys for putting wipers on for me.Sadat and others were very, courteous, friendly and helpful.

No accountability. Not worth your time or frustration. Summary I arrived at Pep Boys for a state inspection appointment and was told the system was down, cash only, and only NY inspections were being done until the system came back online. After watching multiple people arrive after me and leave before me, I asked about my car. The staff couldn’t locate my keys or remember me, even though I was speaking with the same person who signed me in and took my key over an hour earlier. Once my keys were finally found, I was told I was next. Despite this, once again another car was taken in for inspection ahead of mine. Frustrated, I asked for my keys to leave, and suddenly my car was brought in and inspected in under 10 minutes. When I spoke to the manager, they couldn’t give a legitimate reason why I was repeatedly passed over and offered a $2 discount for my inconvenience. What likely happened is that when their system came back online, they entered new appointments into the computer as they arrived and forgot about my arrival, which had been recorded on paper while the system was down. While mistakes happen and this is completely understandable, failing to own up to them and acting as if nothing was wrong is unacceptable. All I wanted was for them to acknowledge they forgot about me, apologize, and take accountability for the situation. Instead, I was met with excuses, a lack of responsibility, and a dismissive $2 discount that felt more insulting than sincere.

I came here without an appointment and Paul was great at helping me and my family out. He explained everything very patiently and offer different solutions. He walk me through the CC application and made our hectic morning very pleasant. Definitely will continue to seek services here because of him

If you want something done right..go somewhere else. Went in the first time for a battery test and light on dash. At my scheduled appointment time I was told after waiting over an hour and a half that I needed a new battery, which then took them another two and a half hours to replace. Reminded them after the estimate to check the light on the dash. When I finally go my car back they had put in a more expensive battery than what I was quoted without my knowledge and hadn’t checked the light. When I described what light was on (the auto start/stop) the technician said it runs on its own battery which was probably going. After spending about 4 hours there already I didn’t have much more time. He assured me it wouldn’t affect my car in anyway..yet here I am at the shop again for a dead battery. After my keys were misplaced for about a half hour, they were eventually able to take the car back only to tell me that the auto start/stop battery that supposed wasn’t going to affect the new battery or the engine, did in fact drain the new $300 battery. Now I’m looking at another $400 bill and an unknown amount of time after already spending another two and a half hours waiting with my toddler.
