I was on a road trip to Oklahoma and my defroster heater wasn't working and I didn't want to cross Flagstaff and have my windshield ice up. I stopped here at Pep boys on Main St. I was running behind but the service guy Jesse worked fast for us found the part I needed and mechanic Gustavo wrapped it up quick as well he gave me tips for future maintenance and I gave me a senior discount. They got me back on the road and all went well. Thanks guys happy holidays 👍

Left my car there Friday night because it almost died on the freeway they were only ones open to drop off really quick. They didn’t look at it all day Saturday even though the manager said he would in the morning and there were tons of appointments online available. Then Saturday night telling me it was a misfire ( just reading the code on the engine light) which I already knew and then telling me Monday they will have an answer for me. What a joke. There explanation was they had walk ins. Please explain how they have priority over a car that is already their first. I am not happy so far and I wouldn’t take your car here in the future. We will see if they actually give me an answer Tuesday the 4th day of having it. Not impressed by this place. Pep boys used to have great service. Maybe it’s just this location

Communication was terrible. After 6 days I asked for my Jeep back so I could find a more capable mechanic to replace my rear axle seals. Pep Boys offered an apology and a discount for the inconvenience. After 3 more days, they increased the price. The next day I took my Jeep to the dealership to complete some other work and they recommended that I pay $250 to re-do the rear differential since Pep Boys did the seal incorrectly which caused leakage.

Had an issue with Tire Balance from a different shop while on the way out of state. Joseph and his Manager were quick to help, find the history and warranty, and resolve my issue as soon as they could. I was back on the road in less than two hours. Joseph was helpful and communicative, updating me on the status of my car, and what his technician found while addressing the issue. Extremely happy with the professional service and grateful for Pep Boys many convenient locations and great warranty!
