I opted to have a repair done at Pep Boys on Bear Valley Rd in Hesperia because they were open on Sunday. I should have waited till Monday to take my vehicle to a reputable repair shop I trusted. The initial diagnosis was a leaking brake line. Parts weren't available. The vehicle was held hostage for 3 days till a part could be located. Once installed, of course additional repairs were necessary - sarcasm intended! I found the part for the additional repair for 74% less amd wasn't confident the repair was necessary. However, I couldn't drive the vehicle nor was I shown the failure. In reaching out to Pep Boys, no less than jumping through hoops and having to find a contact myself, the rep told me his decision was final and directed me to another Pep Boys shop for resolve because there was "a qualified mechanic at the Main St shop". Interesting! Apparently, there isn't a qualified mechanic for this repair at the Bear Valley Rd shop. Ultimately, an additional up-sale was not brought to my attn on the final invoice. The service mgr obviously denied hiding it in the laundry list of charges - purposely buried. Sketchy at the very least. Run don't walk away from any Pep Boys services!

A tire pressure warning light came on in my car. I walked in and the manager, Byron immediately called a tech, Johnny to assist me. I pulled my car up to the bay. He checked and filled all 4 tires. That is absolutely 5 STAR service. Thank you Pep Boys for outstanding Customer Service.

They fixed truck and gave me a new set of tires. Reasonable price and had it done when promised. I would recommend giving them a try. Pleasant employees.

We received outstanding service, and they will be our go to place for service on our vehicles from now on. They were very friendly, honest and fast. We were sent text message throughout the time that had our Honda to update us on what was happening. The price was great too. Overall it was just a good experience.
