Don't schedule online! I booked an appointment for 6 PM online for an oil change. I could see they close at 7, so I figured that was enough time, especially since I was making an appointment. I showed up 10 minutes early, and the man at the counter said they had left me a voicemail explaining they don't allow any appointments after 5pm. I said I didn't receive a voicemail, but he interrupted me and said, "Well it was your voice and your name." I definitely didn't receive it, because I had to leave work early to make it to the appointment on time (which means I missed out on part of my paycheck to come to an appointment they never intended to keep). I asked why it's possible to schedule an appointment online when they don't accept them, and he said they have no control over it. So it's a problem they're aware of, but they don't care to fix it. I scheduled it a few days ago, and have received three emails and two text confirmations about the appointment, so clearly they're able to reach me. But they waited until the day of to leave me a voicemail I didn't get. Definitely never coming back. ADDED: RESPONSE TO OWNER REPLY I've already detailed my experience above. You can fix the online booking feature, or you can continue to knowingly offer services you don't intend to provide.

An Average experience at an average place. Desk was nice and informative , easy to check in although I was a little confused where to put my car? Window for work to be completed was stated to be an hour, and hour and a half. Waited nearly two an a half hours for services to be done. Still pretty good timing, although a little long for an oil change, but there were likely cars ahead of me. Price was good with New Years coupon, took 40 dollars off fully synthetic oil change. Regularly you get 20 dollars off. Definitely take advantage of this New Year deal if you can. 3.5/5 Oil change price is still a little on the higher side, there was missing info on the complimentary inspection about my cars state.

Pep Boys of San Fernando has come a long way. Now only an auto service department and went away from the auto retail market, they focus all efforts on your vehicle mechanical needs. Been coming to this location my entire driving life. Friendly and honest work is all I have received from the team at SF PepBoys! Had issues with my 99 Suburban and they found the issue and with an honest conversation told me " we don't have the skills and technician that can handle this type of work". (had a rotten eat through most of the electrical cables). With that they have won my respect and my business. Me Collections

My husband Alfonso and I had a major car issue that had to get fixed asap. Thanks to Daniel and his manager, who were extremely helpful, we were able to work something out. We have been taking our Jeep here for all minor fixes and maintenance and will continue to show support.

Made an appointment for an oil change. After 30 minutes of waiting I’m told they’re out of conventional oil. What’s the point in making an appointment ahead of time? The employees could have easily taken 5 minutes of their time to give me a call and let me know they didn’t have the supplies needed for the service and saved me the drive and time. Fortunately, there are plenty of other places for me to get an oil change. Will not be returning to Pep Boys.
