Pep Boys

I took two vehicles in for service and repairs to be done. They had told me ahead of time that it would probably take a couple of days to get them both done. They managed to get both ready that same day and did an excellent job on both of them at a very fair price. I’ve been using PEP Boys for 15 years now and can honestly say that the quality of service has always been the best.

The entire crew worked very diligently and was very patient with my questions and concerns. From Matt to Shane to everyone else, thank you for your kindness and willingness to go above and beyond to explain what was being done. My car runs better than the day I got it. I will be returning for future services.

I made an appointment with Pep Boys to have my brake pads replaced based on what my dealer told me. I chose Pep Boys because I always used them in Florida and knew they would be cheaper than the dealer. After Pep Boys completed a full inspection, they made me aware that my brakes were perfectly fine. They could go another two full oil changes before they were possibly due. I appreciate the honesty and will for sure trust Pep Boys for all my future vehicle service needs.

Terrible customer service. I took my car in on Saturday for repairs, picked it up, and paid the bill—only to realize they had the wrong vehicle listed on the paperwork. When I asked about it, they assured me the work was completed. However, the issue with my car was never actually fixed. I have since called customer service three times, and each time, I was promised a call back to resolve the issue. It’s been days, and I still haven’t heard from anyone. This level of service is completely unacceptable. I strongly recommend taking your car to a trusted local mechanic instead.

Kara Sims was awesome! I was driving through SC over the holiday weekend when my brakes started sounding 'scrubby.' I went to Pep Boys on Sunday and Kara was my service advisor and made me feel super comfortable with her engagement and knowledge. So much so, while she was talking about my calibers (sp?) and brake pads, I was thinking about the Cabernet that I was about to have; meaning that, she was very trustworthy and communicative throughout the entire process. While dropping money like in an emergency was not in my plans, the care that Pep Boys provided made it less painful!!!!
