Pep Boys

We finally got a dose of rain, and my breaks got a little noisy and I felt some friction.....I checked in with Dana, and explained my issue and she was able to get me in right away so they could take a look. Sean, the technician informed me that my breaks were in really good condition and just making a little noise due to rain/dirt etc, and not to worry. They could have easily sold me unneeded brakes, but they are simply an honest and helpful bunch of people. Furthermore, when parking my truck he Sean also noticed the friction. Turned out one of my engine mounts had broken, so the engine was bouncing around on one side. This is a very dangerous problem to have, as it puts a severe strain on the other mount, and once that fails the engine can basically fall onto the transmission shaft. You would stop dead, and be in big trouble. Sean showed me with a quick demonstration with the truck in idle mode. Anyways, I appreciate that kind of honesty and transparency, and wanted to give the crew there a big thank-you. Since it was evening time, I let them know I'd be back the next day. I came by the very next morning and Zach checked me in, and was able to use a coupon too. The truck was ready the same day. As a contractor I need a truck in working order 24/7. I really appreciated the honesty, the prevention of what could have been a very serious problem, the price, the service, and the work executed in a timely manner. A big thank-you to Sean, Dana, and Zach. You folks are hands-down the best in town.

Giovanni ray and Zach are all very kind people. They helped us out with great care like they do to our cars. 🚘 I trust pep boys which is the most importajt thing for me. If I feel iffy about someone working on my car I don’t go through with it but thanks to pep boys I always have them to rely on and they always come through with great professional work.

I made a reservation a day in advance for oil change and dropped my Mercedes 9 am for service. They told me it will take up to 2 hours. It is 1pm now and I called to follow up if it’s done. Donna answered the phone and said it will take few more hours! They have no respect for their word and their customers. Donna said if I’m in rush instead of technician regular employee will change my oil! Just do yourself a favor and save your time/day and avoid this place.

You can come by appointment. The car is received exactly at the specified time. All types of work were completed quickly. No complaints about the quality. This is not the first visit to the center. I plan to carry out all types of technical maintenance and repairs here in the future. Thank you. I advise everyone to contact this service center.

The absolute worst professionalism or I should say complete lack of professionalism I have encountered at a mechanic shop. It wasn’t bad enough that in 3 hours they had until closing they never even brought the car to the service bay, they falsified progress on the service portal to keep me from reclaiming the car. This all for a simple oil change that they had been informed was urgent because I had put the wrong additive in the oil. They refused to offer me a ride home or pay for uber and the kicker: It was my responsibility for all of this happening to begin with. Stay away from this place unless you like being pushed around.
