I had my brakes and rotors changed at this location. the next morning on my way to work the front driver side caliper came off because the caliper bolts were not put back on properly. I was going 75 exiting off the 215 on Cactus Ave and my brakes failed on me and I had to swerve out of traffic before my truck came to a stop in the intersection. If the caliper would have locked up my wheel at that speed I could have easily rolled my truck. Lucky for me the caliper ground into my wheel on the inside which helped slow me down but it damaged the wheel. The remaining caliper bolt only took 2 turns and the caliper fell off. I put the brake caliper back on and had to get a ride to autozone to get new caliper bolts. I took the truck back to them and they told me I should have had it towed directly to them because now they don't know what REALLY went wrong. They offered me $200 to go away and gave me a card to a rim repair company to try and fix the rim. I had it looked at by a different mechanic and he said he wouldn't trust the wheel, the front calipers or the front driver side rotor after that. I tried calling corporate many times and they have never called me back even though I was told it was a high priority. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY

Pep Boys was fast, efficient, and honest. I brought my truck in with very squeaky brakes, thought the pads and rotors might need replacing. The mechanic determined the brakes were still good, and just recommended machining the rotors. Took care of the problem in less than an hour, and much less expensive than I thought.

I had a truly disappointing experience at Pep Boys that I feel compelled to share. I went in to have them investigate a noise coming from my front driver-side wheel. After their assessment, they called me back with the alarming news that my transmission was the problem and quoted me a staggering $6,000 for repairs. Determined to seek a second opinion, I took my car to a local mechanic. To my relief, he assured me that my transmission was in perfect condition. Instead, he discovered that a bolt on my driver-side front brake was simply loose. He fixed it free of charge and sent me on my way. Given this experience, I cannot recommend Pep Boys. I encourage anyone considering their services to think twice before entrusting them with their vehicle.

People were courteous and friendly, easy check in check out only it took a little over two hours for an oil change and I did not expect that

I’m beyond furious with this place. Not only did they deliver appalling service, but they were shockingly unprofessional and straight-up rude every step of the way. I trusted them with my car, and they completely betrayed that trust. They gouged and scraped my rims, then had the audacity to try and hide the damage like I wouldn’t notice. When I called them out on it, they didn’t just deny it—they argued with me, acting like I was the one causing problems! The blatant dishonesty and refusal to take responsibility is outrageous. They never apologized—not once. Instead, they got hostile, defensive, and treated me like I was in the wrong. Their complete lack of respect for customers and their property is disgusting. If you care about your car and want to be treated with any kind of decency, stay far away from this nightmare of a shop. They don’t deserve your money, your time, or even a second thought. Stay away. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
