Pete Johnston Towing

I got my car stolen and crashed. I didn't get any insurance money for the car. Pete Johnston towed it to their yard for me. Sergio was a huge help and told me what trailer to get so I could take it home. He helped me load it up and make sure it was secure. He even waived the storage fee for me while I was trying to figure out what to do with the car. Great customer service and they helped me out a lot!

Our car broke down while driving out of town , and we were referred to Pete Johnston towing by AAA. The secretary of Pete Johnston Towing called us before the tow truck came and was so nice and professional as she explained what was going to happen and when to expect the tow truck. Sergio who was the tow truck driver was great. This was a long distance tow and he explained everything that was to happen with our car. After a very stressful day being stranded on a highway with no businesses around , he made us feel much better about our situation. Since it was evening we had to have the long distance tow into our town to be in the next morning. Sergio towed our car to their lot to keep it safe for the night , and he got our car to the the dealership where we reside first thing in morning as we requested which meant he had to leave at 5:30 am to be able to make to our city. I highly recommend Pete Johnston Towing and Sergio as they really know how to take care of their customers.

Let me start by saying that I have worked in customer service over the phone and was absolutely flabbergasted by the way I was spoken to. I called and inquired about the service. The older lady on the other line screamed, "Stop! Stop making that horrible noise! You're hurting my ear!" I waited, thinking she was talking to her dog or someone else. I said, "I'm sorry. What?" She said I was hurting her ear. I explained I was on the side of the highway broken down with the windows up, so it was the best I could do for the noise. I continued by asking how much it would be to come out to Lost hills and take our car home to Paso Robles. She cut me off before I was done and said $600. I said ok. I clarified and said, "Ok, so just to clarify, it will cost $600 for a tow truck to come out to Lost Hills and take us back to Paso Robles?" She responded, "No one is going to come get you!". I asked what the quote was about then and she said she felt "pressured" by me to answer. I waited a moment because she was riled up and calmly asked if someone could come tomorrow Monday, during normal business hours or if this was EVEN AN AREA they serviced. Before I finished this sentence though, to ask if they could even service us so I could move on to another company, I was cut off again with a, "NO!No!No!" Again, super professional and informative. (Sarcasm) So yeah. That's as far as we got. Wish i could give 0 stars.

Today I got a chance to use my AAA Roadside Assistance and Pete Johnson Is the company they use. I managed to lock my keys inside my car. Pete Johnson has been sent numerous time throughout the years for me & my family. They are professional, quick and efficient. Employees have proven to genuinely care and they are are happy to help their customers. “Luis” was the gentleman that got dispatched this Sunday evening. His professional demeanor, quick response and friendly attitude is why I recommend Pete Johnson.

AAA called the for my tow(I was on Hwy 46)- said they would be there at 10:50. At 10:45 he called to say he just passed me. He said he would come right back but have someone pick me up. My sister picked me up but 1 1/2 hours later I get a call from a friend that car is still there and suspicious people by my car. I call him back- he says his tow truck is 1 mile away. They were supposed to take to Auto shop. The auto shop called 1/2 later to let me know closing soon and still no car. Call tow company voice mail full. Never calls back 1 hour later I get a call they were trying to deliver car to wrong area and want me to bring cash. I told them to please take to right place. Service was horrible and left my car unattended on a busy highway for 4 hours!!
