Premier Expert Auto Repair (PEX)

I had previously gone to a few mechanics with no success in fixing my Volvo XC90's AC issues. Frustrated after four attempts, I decided to get a second opinion and visited Ray’s shop. Ray, the owner, conducted a very thorough investigation and provided me with a fair estimate to fix the issue. What stood out was his honesty—he suggested I first check with the dealership to see if it was covered under warranty, which I hadn’t considered before. I decided to take the car to the dealership as he recommended, but I truly admired Ray’s transparency and the way he approached the situation. His son was also extremely supportive, explaining the issue in detail and even giving me tips on how to discuss it with the dealership. They only charged me for half an hour of work, which was fair for the detailed investigation and report they provided. This level of integrity and customer care is rare. I’ll definitely be returning for future repairs!

I had been to a mechanic that was closer to home and they were fine. But my issues never seemed to get resolved. I had worked with PEX Auto previously and knew that they would take care of my issues. Not only did Ray find the problem but it got fixed that day. He is amazing and such a kind hearted person. I cannot recommend him enough.

I took my 2017 MBZ C350e to this shop to see why the “Auxiliary Battery Malfunction “ message popped up (immediately after the last service at the dealership). The owner Ray ran the diagnostic on my car and replaced the auxiliary battery in less than a half an hour. He also charged me about 20%less than what the dealership would. He seemed professional and knowledgeable about the car and was very efficient in his work. I will definitely make my car again if needed.

Worth driving to PEX to have Ray work on all my vehicles. I trust him one hundred percent. He's super good at what he does and he's always done amazing with anything that comes up for my car's needs. I can't recommend him enough.

Ray is the BEST mechanic ever! Wow I am so happy I found this shop. I drove 19hours from Texas to RSM, California and had to get my truck (Ford F150) fixed immediately. It was a Saturday which he said usually he takes off Saturday’s, but somehow he managed to take a look at my truck, diagnose the problem that many other mechanics had no clue what to do and all within the same day, he stayed late for me and found the part locally just in time to replace it and give the car within 5 hours, that SAME day! WOW, Ray and son are incredible! Thank you so much. I highly recommend this shop to anyone; super honest, great service and great quotes!
