I'm going to be extremely clear with the beginning of my review. DO NOT go to this shop. My girlfriend's car was having issues starting. Her lights worked so I figured it could be a bigger issue than the battery. We had an extremely helpful tow guy who was able to check her battery and plainly told us it was dead. Since he was there we figured we'll use him and tow it to the shop for a simple battery change since it's down the street. By the time we got there her lights were flickering and eventually died which was a clear indication it's more than likely the battery. They informed us THEY HAVE TO run a $150 diagnostics to be sure thats all it is. I explicitly told them we ran a test and it's definitely the battery. They call us back an hour later and tell us it's that and the alternator. Alternator will cost $1300 and battery $250. I let them know I will be towing the vehicle back and we were forced to pay the $150. I go get a battery, change it myself and we have a mechanic run a free diagnostic on the battery, starter AND alternator. Car started right up and everything started running SUCCESSFULLY on the meter. I will repeat the beginning of this review. DO NOT go to this shop.

I've been twice. The first time I thought it was my brakes. They were honest enough to say nope, brakes are good . I've driven it months since then and brakes are still good. Today I went in for an oil sensor that kept reading 0 on the oil gauge yet my car computer said there was 71% oil left. They replaced the sensor and I only had to wait a couple hours. Mike was honest and quoted me a good price for everything. I so appreciate the honesty both times I've been and will continue to give them my business. Thank you Mike!!

I’ve been Bringing My Cars To Purrfect Auto Shop For 7 Years Now, 4 Cars In Total. I Originally Found Them Through Google Listing And Decided To Give Them A Try Since They Were Super Close To My Residence. I’ve Had Engine Work Done, Serpentine Belt Replacements, Water Pump Replacements, Brakes & Many Oil Changes. I’ve Literally Lost Count Lol, But They Have Repaired All Of My Cars Over The Years Including An Oil Change Just Yesterday 01/13/2025 2:30PM, I Can Definitely Say. I’m A Satisfied Customer If You Need Things Done Right, Or Have Any Question Go Directly To Mike He’s The Man! Oh And I Forgot To Mention The Prices Are Unbeatable 💯💯

Went in because my Tacoma's breaks sounded horrible. Did they fix that issue? Yea for $3500 plus who knows what else was "needed". Went back a month later because it smelled like burnt oil and the struts needed to be replaced, another $1500. Why that wasn't fixed the first time who knows. Check engine light continues to turn on after a week or bringing it in each time. This is my 4th time going in. And the only reason I keep going back is so they can fix what they've claimed has already been worked on. I DO NOT recommend this place unless you like to throw your money away. Sorry Mike, I wanted to trust you guys but I am definitely not happy with this service and will not be returning. Even for a free oil change

I've had two conflicting experiences with Purrfect Auto Service. The first one was not very good which was the Cerritos location. Fortunately they are out of business. The Placentia location completely turned me around about this company. I stopped going to Purrfect Auto about 20 years ago in Cerritos due to their Shady unethical style of practice. My most recent two experiences have been very good. Kudos to the manager and the staff of the Placentia location for being much more honest.
