Quick Lane at Varsity Lincoln

The worst service I have ever had. If I could give it a zero I would. First I parked and came into the quick lane desk. Told the girl at the desk -once she looked up from the video she was watching - that I was there for my 3p appointment which I had previously scheduled as an oil change, tire rotation and look at my fan indicator on my touch pad that only comes up in Chinese for my 2mth old Corsair. It was 2:50p. She said pull on up and they would open the door. Pulled up , told the guy who I was and what I was there for. He seemed to have a list so assumed he was checking me in. I then went and sat in the waiting area. Several times I got up and saw that my car had not moved. The girl was no longer at the desk. Finally at 4:30 a guy came in and stated my name and said they did not know I was there. He apologized and asked if I still wanted the oil changed. I told him that after waiting 1 1/2 hours I would. He then came back 10 min later and said he had a great idea that I could leave my car there over night, he would give me a loaner and come back tomorrow. I told him absolutely not and that I was leaving. All of this for an oil change. I have purchased three cars now from Varsity but do not use their service as it is not convenient for me working downtown. Due to the holiday I had a day off so thought it would work for my schedule. Never again.

The work was good and they completed it in a quick fashion, but the customer service was sloppy. Started with me walking in, and just standing there waiting for someone to come up and ask me what they could help with. Lots of hustle and bustle and people walking by me, but no one stopped to ask "Have you been helped." Not a huge deal, but, come on. Ended with me picking up my car and noticing that despite me asking the customer rep to have the garage check my tire pressure (I was there to get a new tire anyway) the other tires still looked low. Grabbed my digital reader and sure enough they were low. Customer rep said she'd get the technicians to fix it. Guy came out, fired some air in and stomped off. I checked the pressure again and it was over 40 for a tire that required 30. Rep said that my device probably wasn't accurate (it was). A man that I assumed to be a manager of some sort just stood there the whole time and watched me. Like I said, nothing outrageous, but just sloppy customer service.

Well, I'll definitely keep them in mind for car services. My tire was busted t just coming off the freeway on Wednesday March 9th and when I got there , they didn't have my tire size as mine are low profile with the rims but nevertheless offered to swap it with my spare tire. And when it was all done and i asked about how much they told me it was free. I can more than pay for anything i want in this world but i truly appreciate good customer service, their waiting room is very clean, everyone was smiling and none of them would take tips . Bill the gentleman that brought my car over was very nice and even declined the tip i offered away from everyone insisting he was just glad to help.

While I was satisfied with the oil change and tire rotation that was performed, I was deeply upset that they charged $40 to patch a slow leak in my tire (from a nail). There are competitors that will do this for FREE. These types of things drive me away.
