I hired R & R diesel repair to do my front brakes, on my 2016 Isuzu. I have to say it wasn't a pleasent experience. The first day he broke his socket on the lug nut. Texted me to tell me he had to run to get another socket. When he finally returned, he noticed the pads were the wrong size, they happen to be the HD version. I took them back to the store, and returned a short time later. Mr. Robert had left and said he will return in the morning ?? That morning he texted me and said he had to run to look at another job, and will start the brake job around 10am. At 11am I recevied a text "I've got a good customer, broken down on the 85". So at 5pm, I get another text message, saying he will return the next morning" ?? I guess I wasn't a good enough customer for him !! I really needed these brakes to be done. I didn't feel safe driving them in the condition they were in. I did emphasize this to him, a couple of times. This was really getting ridiculous !! I did have the truck up for sale and wanted the brakes done to sell the truck in a safe condition. After, all of that I was sent an invoice for $503. for the labor charge !! ( oh, he did scan my truck and my van for error code, and added that to the invoice). I can't say I recomment R & R Diesal Repair after my poor and strange experience !

Mr. Joseph Roberts was EXCEPTIONAL last night. My driver in a 2015 Pete 389 broke down in Pelzer at 1400 on Friday. We called out an over the mechanic to come assist with the repair, but unfortunately he was unable to do the job. I didn't find out until 2000 that the repair was not going well. I was panicked! How was i going to get my driver home? I called the nearby LOVES and TAs but none could assist. A quick google search and I found Mr. Roberts. He answered the phone on the first ring and assured me that he could assist in repairing the unit and get the driver on the way. Mr. Roberts arrived exactly when he said he would and was quickly able to resolve the botched work done by the first mechanic and get my driver back on his way. Had it not been for Mr. Roberts, my driver would have been stranded on the side of the road over night. His pricing was INCREDIBLY fair, he was very kind to my driver (which was MUCH appreciated since the guy had been sitting since 1400), and was very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend his services and will personally be holding onto his contact information for future needs. Thank you again Mr. Roberts!
