I wanted to share my experience with you since I got my windows tinted at Jet Black in Redwood City. There hasn't been a single issue over the past nine months and my windows are still as gorgeous as the day they were done. I purposefully waited this long to provide my feedback because with time, the truth of any experience really surfaces. From the get-go, their customer service was exceptional. The team in the front office, technicians and their follow-up after completing the job were wonderful. Their professionalism, expertise, and transparency regarding prices were absolutely remarkable. They did the service on December 28, 2023, successfully tinting the driver's side, passenger windows, and the front windshield. I can't praise their services enough and I thought you should know about them. Jet Black has a high recommendation from me!

I went to this place because they broke the window of my car. He gave me an estimate of $331.14 I accepted.. I asked him how much it would cost me to have the windows tinted and he gave me an estimate of $188.28, which I accepted.He told me not to lower the window for 5 days.I left that place, but the next day I noticed that the window had water bubbles, I waited and thought it was normal, on the third day, I saw that it was the same, I called the phone that I found on Google Maps. It doesn't answer.Decided to go back again and he was talking to another customer I waited until he finished and told him what was going on.He told me to wait 5 minutes. I waited the 5 minutes and when he came out he had a spatula with a Sprite. He told me it wasn't air but water.Then I left that place when he finished plastering the window with his spatula.Then I waited, I waited six more days to be able to open the window.I slowly lowered the window and stopped because I saw that it was getting stuck. I closed it completely and saw that the tint paper had wrinkled when I closed the window completely. I went back to that place again and told him what had happened and he got angry because I had opened the window too early, I told him it's been more than five days and he told me you don't have to open the window for a month, but you didn't tell me a month, you only did it for five days. He told me that I shouldn't have opened the window because it's cold. I recommend that you do not go to this place, because this person gets angry when something is not done right, they did not do the job well, I returned, twice.The first day he talks to you very nicely and tells you that no place will get a price like his estimate. When they have a problem because the work was not done well and the job was not done well, he does not want to take responsibility. The manager who is there who attended to me and is the one who does the paperwork and charges you, has a bad attitude when he comes to complain. I recommend that you do not go to this place and investigate the prices in different places because it is not honest.

I took my car to get my windows tinted, Tesla Model X. I went got a quote and accepted it in which it’s not cheap which I understand because of the type of car. For what you pay and what you receive it’s not what was expected. I thought that they would have more qualified personnel to complete the task. Once I picked up my car I saw that there was a lack in detail. They kept telling me that it’s fine that way, that that is how it needs to be. Another issue is that they removed a trim part from the interior and scratched it in the process of removal. and now I have an issue with my airbag system I have to take it into Tesla so that they can repair the issue. Another issue is that the door trims were removed and they we not installed correctly. I would recommend that people inspect there cars before taking your car. I definitely do not recommend people going there, especially with the person in charge which didn’t even want to take responsibility of the issues that I had.

Ibrahim is amazing. So responsive and the team is so quick. Highly recommend this Redwood City shop and the shop in Fremont. I texted him on Wednesday about a crack in my windshield and it was fixed in a timely manner by Friday. They also have very good pricing with warranties. Thank you so much for all your help!
