I have been going to this shop for several years and while they were never the cheapest place, I enjoyed going there because Kevin the owner stood behind his work and I prefer to support a local small business. That said, my last two experiences with this shop have been negative and each time Kevin has not been around. Issue 1: twice I asked them to replace a small plastic piece around the foglight on my car. Both times they say no problem, we will order the part and call you. Nobody ever called back and when I follow-up with them they do not seem to know what I'm talking about. I know replacing this part is not a big money-maker for them, but it matters to me a loyal customer. Issue 2: We recently had brand new tires installed on our SUV and when one of the tires had an issue 3 months later they were quite difficult to deal with. Granted this issue was in the side-wall and not the tread but they did not even try to work it out with their distributor. They wanted to charge me full retail on a new tire and installation. If I had bought these tires at Pep Boys (where they sell the same tire) I could have gotten the extended warranty (which covers stuff like this) for less money than I spent at Rices. I now very much regret getting my tires done at Rice's because there is a 60k mile warranty on these tires and if I have further issues I will have to bring it back to the same guys. I'm not sure what is going on at Rices but it seems there is a big difference when dealing with Kevin vs others in this shop. If you go here I suggest asking for Kevin specifically (if he is still around).

My vehicle just so happens to break down in front of the shop on a Sunday while they were closed. One of the employees just so happens to pull up and assist me with my vehicle. The next morning my car was repair and in better condition than I originally had. Great service and communication will highly recommend

I can't speak for the repair aspect of the shop, but I've been an alignment tech for 5 years with high standards and know the machine they have well. I can say with full confidence that their alignment tech knows what hes doing and did a thorough/great job. They are not miracle workers. If you bring your car with a worn suspension/uneven or worn tires/broken bushings/tie rods/ball joints do not expect an alignment to take care of the real issues. When given a car that truly needs an alignment because of replaced parts or normal wear over time, they do a great job. Office was nice and cool. Tony and everyone else I encountered were friendly and easy going. This place has come a long way since I was last there 5+ years ago. If you're local or have no confidence in your local alignment shop, this is where you want to get your alignment done. Adorable friendly kitty kept me company too.

I maintain my car in this shop many times; however, I was very upset this morning for the service. My wife and two kids went to the shop to see if it can replace the battery for us. We would like to know the price and availability before the installation. The shop asked my wife to take a walk, then he would call her for the price and availability. My wife called back and asked the shop the same questions again and told him that please do not install the new battery until letting her know the price. Guess, what happened? The shop installed the battery and asked for the money. It also told my wife that it would charge her $250 if she did not want to this new battery. My wife told him that it is not fair and the shop began to curse her in front of two kids with "f" word. We will never go to this shop again. It is a "good weather" shop. If you will agree with all the payments it desire, it will work for you. Otherwise, it will curse you with no respect.
