We were traveling for the holidays when we had some warning lights pop up on the dashboard. Rich’s Auto Care had us back traveling in less than an hour. I took my truck in cause it wasn't starting and the battery had gone dead. They rebuilt the fuel system. They up charged me 280 percent on the parts used. I double checked the prices with my cousin who runs a NAPA store which is where they got my parts. $6k later I go to pick up the truck and they had to jump me because they never even changed out my battery. Good news is the truck ran great once I got a new battery. I recently had the same rebuild done on another truck of mine at another garage and the upcharge on parts was half of what Rich charged. I saved nearly 40 percent over all.

So... my dad usually helps me work on maintenance on my car but is having health issues, and I did not want to burden him. So I called the nearby Rich's Auto Care. I have a 2008 Infiniti G37 S. I requested service from this establishment for four brakes, four rotors, and two calipers. I was quoted $3,000 for after market parts and $3,800 for the recommended OEM parts by the service manager. After this completely outrageous quote, I told him that I would be picking up the car shortly, which I did. I picked up my car and my dad offered to help me. We replaced it all ourselves for less than $400 (four turned rotors, four new pads, and two OEM calipers) over a weekend. In the future, I will be taking my vehicles elsewhere.
