Rivian Service + Demo Center

They finally gave me the car for about 45 minutes, just like Tesla! And guess what? They even gave me some recommended test routes based on how I planned to use it. The customer service was great, and they showed me all the cool features of the car before I even got to drive it. I had a blast! I hope they keep up the good work. They’re doing an amazing job!

Dear Rivian Team, I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience with the San Jose Rivian Service Center. I brought my R1S in for service and, although I did not have a prior appointment, the team went above and beyond to address my concerns and resolve the issue quickly. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the professionalism and care shown by the staff. They made my issue a priority and worked diligently to ensure it was fixed in a timely manner. The mechanics, in particular, were outstanding in their expertise and commitment to getting the job done right. I am extremely grateful for the exceptional level of service I received. I did not have appointment I was visiting the area and had to replace the tire on my R1s , they got me in quickly and I was out in one hour Great job !

Had an appointment to demo a vehicle, after being “checked in” we waited for 30 minutes after our appointment time for a demo person to come get us; not a single person from that “check in” came to us to give us an update or anything. While we were waiting people had come in and were helped immediately (someone having their truck serviced for the past month…). we ended up leaving since i had to get back to work and our infant needed to get back on schedule. This seemed to confirm our doubts about Rivian as a company, inefficient and unprofessional; we no longer trust this company to stay in business long enough to support any issues we would have with our 100k+ vehicle.

Had an appointment for a demo drive. I’d scheduled it three weeks in advance and planned my whole weekend around it because it was a bit of a drive (to put it mildly). Waited over an hour — nobody ever showed up. Spent forever on the phone with customer service in Illinois, who said they would get someone to call us, but that hasn’t happened. What a waste of time. Terrible customer experience.
