Remember to always get a second opinion first and take before pictures. I'm speaking on my bad experience here when I took my Honda Accord in for a rattling or grinding noise during cold start coming from the engine area that I believe was the chain tensioner. I called ahead to make an appointment and communicate what was the issue so I dropped it off the next morning. The reason my experience was bad is because the mechanic left a scratch on my ceramic coated paint near the driver handle, didn't put back the engine cover on properly, left fingerprints smudges on the hood and driver door area, dirty the driver side floor with dusty footprints, the communication with the advisor Efrian was not good, they tried to get me to leave my car there over the weekend and loan me a free car that I felt shouldn't be offered because the leather seats were totally ripped (see pictures), told me the cabin air filter was bad even when I told them I changed it myself last month and the reason Efrian give didn't make sense especially when I checked it myself after I got home. Air filter doesn't need to be changed after only a month and putting less than 1,000 miles on it. Overall my experience here was bad and they couldn't even tell me what they found was the issue after my car was there literally the whole day. They charge a high cost to look into the issue first and do their so called "courtesy check" which I believe is a way to find things to tell you to fix and charge close to dealership prices. The staff are friendly, that's true with the interaction I had with them. I saw great review on Yelp and Google which is why I gave this place a chance but I was one of the rare one they dropped the ball on when they told me they take great car of peoples car but I didn't experience that. They will also drop you off if needed as long as you're close by. I reached out to the shop owner to communicate my complaint and we talked after a couple of days. He apologized for my experience and agreed that the communication should have been better. He also said they should have put things back properly and not rush but since I didn't want the loaner car, everything was fast. He offered to clean my car and make things right by being my service advisor with a new mechanic but I don't trust the shop so I decline. This is why I give 2 star, so if you come here then just remember to take your own before pictures and always get a second opinion. I took it to another shop that had great review off Yelp, Google and Carfax where they check my car for free. I took it to the dealership first and they said the timing belt needed a full replacement and charges a lot. The shop offer to do it for half the quote I got so I agreed to do it with them.

I took my 2022 Tesla model Y to RM Automotive for electrical issues. Mechanical advisor, Efren advised to have the car to be diagnosed by their Tesla Technician. They took the time for several hours to go through the whole system and find out what might be causing the car to have electrical issue. They let me to talk to their expert Technician and he explained me everything else necessary for me to understand how the electrical system works. I totally appreciate their business. They’re very professional and took care of me very well. The technician is very knowledgeable and understood how it can be fixed. Although it was my first time to visit RM Automotive, I felt very confident to leave the car with them to make the work done. I trusted them very well to understand that they are triple AAA certified mechanic shop. Thank you Efren and Juan

Hello, the experience was not professional and very nerve wrecking. The mechanic Kyle was very rude and pushy. He could never give me a direct answer and was very inconsiderate. After I picked the car up I noticed that the issue was not fixed even though it was told to me that it was. Please give me a call so I can further explain. I owned the 2012 red jetta. Corey Wow, I had to edit my review and reply to the cover up by the owner. I absolutely did not threaten any one at your business not once. Our last encounter did get heated I’ll admit. I was very disappointed in the way the owner handled the situation with my vehicle. I had a legitimate complaint about your employee and your response is why did I give a bad review. You guys lied to me numerous times and told me you found the issue when you did not. You charged me sky high price to put a new starter in my vehicle when it didn’t need one. After I had to bring my car back per your instructions when I didn’t really want to do that. Your excuse was that the new starter was defective. At the end of the day the problem was never fixed. I had an extended warranty and you took advantage of me just to make a dollar. You told the extended warranty company that I had the towed there and was a lie. You actually printed that on my receipt. I can’t believe you can go as far lying on my character to cover up your bad business. I was never coming back to your shop. You raised your voice at me and spoke to me rudely and I returned that favor with threats to harm anyone. You should be ashamed of yourself. My car is already in another shop. It’s a small world and word travels about bad business. This guy is mad at me because I double check his work. He said that I was untrustworthy because I wanted to see old parts.

Not bad. Came in for minor service. Got a full Diagnostic and received a list of 12 items that they recommended be done. Had I done them all, my $160 service would have ballooned to over $1,000. I did NEED new wheel bushings w/boot. Grand total was $438 and the work was excellent. Very nice people too.

Awesome service as always. I have had service here several times. My wife service her vehicle here and they always do a great job. Highly recommend.
