I was on vacation at the Tail of the Dragon and got a little overzealous and wore my rear tires down to nothing. I was really worried about not being able to find any place close by that could help me. Robbinsville City Tire ordered me new rear tires which came in the next day and they had them on the car in 30 minutes. I spent more time talking to them than they took to install the tires. They were friendly, professional, and willing to help me get back on the road. If you’re in the area and need tires or mechanical work, definitely go see them.

I brought my F150 and 4 new tires in to have them installed. From start to finish I watched mistake after mistake. first off they used floor jacks instead of the lift which i thought was ghetto, right away the old guy (the owner) was having problems getting the second bead over the rim, so he used the auxiliary arm/ram to totally crush the sidewalls of my brand new tires. Then they didnt line up any of the valve stems with the red dots found on every tire to minimize the need for lots of wheel weights. Lazy. Then the old guy was to weak to get the tire lined up with the wheel studs and ended up just slamming it onto my painted caliper gouging both the caliper and inner wheel. then instead of holding the wheel flat against the rotor he just got one lugnut finger tight and blasted it with an air wrench when it wasnt even aligned. Nothing personal but this old dude has no business being a tire tech, he`s too old, out of shape and incompetent. In fairness the other younger mechanic helping seemed decent.

In the past I've reported this store much higher. Something has changed, and NOT for the better. I recently dropped off 3 lawn tractor tires in the morning for leak repair and said I'd return later for them. Returning later that day I was informed by an employee that tubes had to be ordered and that the tires would not be ready until the next day. I'm already annoyed as I now have 2 lawn tractors tied up and unusable. Not to mention I gave no authorization to replace tubes in any of the tires. Returning the next day after 4 pm my tires STILL were not ready and I had to wait. Then the real problem became apparent. The BILL! $74.90 to repair leaks in lawn mower tires. NOT IMPRESSED!
