RVC AUTO PERFORMANCE

The team here is great. I had issues starting my 2005 Honda Accord and they were able to diagnose and fix the issue in less than 24 hours (needed a new starter). They called me prior to doing any work to let me know exactly what they needed to fix and how much it would cost. Lots of places are dishonest and will take advantage of those that may not know all the ins and outs of cars, but that’s not the case here. This will be my go-to auto shop from now on.

Brought my Jag to RVC due to service lights on dashboard and convertible top. Car was at station for approximately 4 weeks, called numerous times,I was promised a call back with updates which I never received.(I physically had to go there on two occasions and was told my car would be finished by next week. Which of course was B.S. When I finally did receive a call back I was told the repair of the top would be $5000.00 and I was getting a deal that Jaguar would charge me $10,000.(I had this repair done on another Jag some years ago the cost was $2500). They also said they changed the battery which I found to be strange since, the battery was replaced 2 months ago. They also attempted to charge me for a motor in the top, not to fix the problem but just to get it to where it was originally. All the service lights are still on, and the top still doesn't work. In their defense they did repair the CD player part of the radio.(who uses CDs) My final bill was $1256.00. NOT ONE OF THEIR PERSONNEL COULD LOOK ME IN THE FACE, WHEN I WAS HANDED THE BILL.

Brought the car in to get an estimate on the cost of work and when I made a comment about the cost, guy said “why don’t you go to the jiffy lube?” What an unprofessional person to work with, would not recommend. Maybe others here are more professional

I never write reviews, especially bad ones but felt compelled in this case to post my experience. I brought in my XJ8 for a many issues including a transmission leak. After getting the car back the leak continued. I brought the car in for a second time and was told there was no leak. I brought back the car a third time and was told they could not find a leak. As you can see from the pictures, there’s a big leak. At this point I have the take the car to another mechanic in order repair an issue I paid for several weeks ago.
