This business is a distance from my residence. However, it is worth the extra time. Made contact with "VJ" the owner, and mechanic that serviced my vehicle. He was honest, and to me, that is a big deal. He gave a clear explanation of the issues and had it done in a timely manner. I thought the brakes were leaking. It turned out to be a shock assembly that was leaking. Did a great job. There are quite a few coffee shops in the area. I found myself wandering around the streets. Stopped in one for some coffee while I killed some time waiting for my car. There are some quaint shops around there. One called the "British Grocerer." There is a little Cafe to grab a bite to eat.. The only problem was I was there on a Monday, and I noticed a lot of shops, including the cafe, were closed on Monday. The coffee shops were all open. The Cafe sits in a big building on the North side of Wilshire all the way to Harbor blvd. The inside has a center courtyard with a coffee shop, and where the Cafe is located, along with about three floors of various businesses. Of course, around the corner is Downtown Fullerton..

Had a squeaky belt that drove me and ALL my neighbor's insane. I had researched a few repair shops to find them all quoting me 2 to 3 hundred without seeing my truck. Called S&K on Friday night and the owner says bring it in tomorrow and he will get it done, even though they close at noon. I take it in Saturday at 8 and he says give me a few minutes. Proceeds to have me start my truck, checks the belts and realized it only needed an adjustment. Doesn't charge me anything, I had no cash on me but ran to an ATM grabbed some cash and he only took 20 bucks after I urged him to take something. Problem solved for 20 bucks and me and the neighbors are happy. Highly recommend S&K nice guy and honest too.

Treated me respectfully and honestly. Good mechanic. Came here because my brake caliper got stuck in the brake position which left my rear left pad absolutely blasted. This led to metal to metal contact. He repaired the caliper part and replaced both break pads and said my rotors are still good to use. Happy customer!

VJ is very kind, fair and down to earth. We brought our car in for overheating at around 9:45am and he was done with diagnosis and fixing by 11:50am. He took the time to patiently explain what was wrong with our car and what we can do for preventative measures. I would highly recommend him and will be coming back in the future for my repair needs.

VJ is the most honest mechanic. I went there to check, two previous stores put a little drama with my Highlander. But VJ given the honest answer avoiding over spending on those fake problems played by other places. I’m lucky to find this place. But it’s also sad that most of shops now a day are no long measure honesty as their merits.
